It’s certainly not my day...

Couldn’t wake up in the morning that I bargained with my alarm for couple times until I really really had to leave my bed or I would be late. Had an important morning staff meeting and I am not a morning person

Didn’t dare spending more time, that I took quick shower and no breakfast. Had almost reached the street when I was blocked by floods. It was quite deep that my shoes wouldn’t last. And I didn’t want to waddle the floods with my bare feet. No way ....

Had to return home for flip flop. Also brought a mineral water to wash my feet after waddling through the floods with flip flop. I didn’t have time left that I just took any taxi which approached me first. Fortunately, it was still a decent taxi.

The traffic was quite bad that I came to the office 10 minutes late. Did pay more than if I took my regular taxi, but it’s still alright. I was the third of 10 staff who attended the meeting. Not bad, huh. To tell you the truth, it was a boring meeting that I wish I could miss it.

The rest of the day was just routine. Didn’t go out for lunch, as I lost my appetite. I just grabbed some light meal from the canteen. And one of my colleagues gave me a very yummy local salad in the afternoon. Thanks, girl!

I was leaving the office earlier than my usual time. After seeing the traffic in front of my office building, I decided to take the bus home. The bus has its own path that no other vehicle can pass. That’s the rule, but still lots of other vehicle use the bus’s path when the traffic is horrible.

I had to wait for quite long time for my bus. Did a happy dance on my head when it finally came and there was only few passengers getting into the bus. I congratulated myself that I took the bus instead of taxi. The traffic was heavy. Would go crazy if I was in the taxi. Was considering to snap a photo as a prove, maybe next time.

I had a good bus ride. Never mind that the driver was so chatty. He talked non stop to every passengers who sat near him, excluding me. I pretended to listen music from my ipod. I knew, I was rude. Sorry buddy, but I have spent all my daily tolerance quota.

Did have to wait quite long too for the second bus which will take me near to my residence area. So I read couple pages of my novel to kill the time, sent text messages to friends and checking office emails. Couple of my girl friends were dining in a new restaurant and would go to movies after. They invited me to go along, but I said no. I was tired to bones. It has been a tough week. Wish I had their energy, though.

The bus I got into was quite full, but I got my seat at the back row, beside a muscular man. I almost nodding off when the man started asking me several questions. He didn’t even back down when I only replied in short verses only. I was saved when there was an elder lady got into the bus. As the other passengers pretended not seeing her, I just gave my seat to the poor lady and walked into the exit door. I got off from the bus at the next bus stop and saw that the man also got off from the bus. Didn’t he say that he was getting off at the final bus stop? Forgetting my tired feet, I almost ran to hail a pedicab. I didn’t even negotiate the fare. What a day ...
