Ah yes, the on-line dating process rolls ever onward, upward, sideways and all around. At times we are on that wonderful rollercoaster ride where we head in every direction not really knowing what lies ahead. We communicate via pictures and the written word to attempt to find that "soul mate" that will complete our lives in such a way that we will find eternal happiness and unending joy. But who really is the person that we are communicating with? We cannot read the nonverbal communication which is so important to truly understanding someone and there is no physical presence to find and share emotional intimacy with. Like the song title says; "We can only imagine." Challenge your fears and uncertainties and take that all too frightening but essential next step; reach out and arrange to meet that special someone face-to-face. The worst thing that could happen is that the person you are attracted to in print is not the person that you thought they were. The best thing that could happen is that the person is even more than you ever dreamed possible. So get your feet wet and take the plunge. Warm or cold, testing the water is the only way to know for sure! Is anyone going swimming today?
