“A liberal’s paradise" would be a place where everybody has.. guaranteed employment,
.. free comprehensive healthcare,
.. free education,
.. free food,
.. free housing,
.. free clothing
.. free utilities
.. and only law enforcement has guns.
And believe it or not, such a place does indeed already exist in the USA:

There are also a VERY strict ban on guns. The last time we had a school shooting was in 1994. That was the first and only time that ever happened.
Of course you can get guns here illegally, but you can't go into a supermarket to buy a gun. The only people who have unrestricted access to guns are the military and law enforcement.
Of course, this whole thing with free healthcare and free education really isn't free. We pay taxes for that. Currently, the tax rate for Denmark in December 2018 was 55.8%. If you earn more than $77276 per year, you pay 15% more. This is a tax known as the wealth tax.
The tax bracket in the US in December 2018 was just 37%. Imagine what you could to with a 3% increase in taxes! And if the rich paid their share of tax.
Freedom isn't free, but it feels good to pay towards it!
How much are the current incarcerations costing the U.S.? That won't even include all of the legal fees and and tax payer costs for the judicial systems with it's employees. Oh, the man power it takes!
Any one that thinks healthcare and education any where is free; most likely isn't smart enough to look at their region's national deficit. Most likely, still not smart enough to look into why it's always growing if so much is free and spending tax payer dollars is unlimited with out consequences.

Certainly, some places in Murka are friendlier than others - it's a big place, remember.
THE friendliest place I've been (including several in Canada) is South Dakota...Easily.
A bit of an annoying thing - they haven't any concept of time. You say "1:00 pm" to a South Dakotan, you might as well have said, "sometime this afternoon".
I mentioned this lack of time-consciousness to a South Dakotan & suggested there wasn't a clock in the entire state.
She corrected me (in a very friendly manner). There ARE clocks in South Dakota - folks simply take the hands off of 'em.
