Income inequality...the gig economy...

A pair of related downsides of rank free markets. But in the latter case, new depths, apparently. "Micro work". Home based computer contract work, often at less than USD 1.00 per hour, if payment actually ever happens. Busy beavers might very rarely hit over USD 5 hourly, for 14 hour days. Boring work, on personal medical, product choice, lifestyle and other records data, gathered by the likes of facebook. Seems like it gets used to develop more 'human' AI. Was where expected, in dirt poor (Venezuela workers' paradise) countries. Now in the richer West. Nice. Check out the ethnicities of the rich suits behind this disgrace. Facebook, others.

Mark Zuckerberg didn't become rich because he stole from anyone. most people who joined FB are low and middle income People who helped the free app to generate money for him with ads and all sorts of stuff. His success wouldn't have been that much if only the rich percentage joined the Platform.

There is a poem by Bertolt Brecht. If I am not poor you are not rich or something like that.

I don't want to go on about Venezuelan online workers or Chinese labourers. I am tired and falling asleep. Later. wave
OMG! So glad we still agree on everything in God's universe, dearest Usha. I am not saying that Mr. Z. and shameless money grubbing crumbs at (way over rated) FB are principally ripping off personal data from the rich. I agree that, as in much of life, it's the poorer lemmings getting reamed, as you say as well. So thank Goddess there will still be no fights, at least until you begin to laugh. Back in the EU soon. Sweet dreams, dream boat.
