A Young UK Man, Wise Beyond His Years
British teen knows the real score.“It’s straight out of 1984 book, the idea that we’re going to have to get out our phones, get out our passes, show our papers in the streets, or if we want to go in a pub, it’s funny, it’s honestly funny that people don’t see where this is going. It’s about control. If you allow the government to break the law and violate your rights for an emergency, what’s stopping them from creating an emergency to break the law.”

Attorney General Sues School Districts For Imposing Mask Mandates On Children
Missouri’s attorney general filed a lawsuit against continued mask mandates in public schools. The class action lawsuit was filed by Attorney General Eric Schmitt on Tuesday.
Schmitt claimed mask mandates put in place by certain Missouri school districts were more harmful to students than they were helpful. He pointed out students lost facial expressions and visual cues from their peers and teachers when forced to mask up, which could set them behind other children.
“There have been no deaths under the age of 10. There has been five under the age of 18. Of the hospitalizations, one in 200,000 is a kid related to COVID-19,” he explained. “You balance that with what we know as a growing body of evidence of potential psychological and emotional issues that kids suffer from having to wear a mask all day long and some of the learning difficulties.”

I know a couple of teenagers whom I've recently met and they both had an awful skin rash on their face.
They were given an antibiotic cream and told not to wear a mask for a while.
Unfortunately, they'll have to go back to school soon...and wear masks again!
How many people give away their power without realising it.
And then, you hear them say that someone was controlling them.
It's nothing to do with washing.
Those blue masks are NOT washable!
They contain chemicals!
If I was in school I'd show up with a full
plexiglass gas-mask industry type with double filters
just for laughs. lol
And they are bought from a chemist and also supplied in medical centres when you enter.
They are surgical masks.
Ged, can't you just accept facts for a change?
Or do Irishmen always want the last word?
Maybe you could try singing?
Some places, like schools, the surgical masks are obligatory, and not the fashionable cloth ones.
I guess a full resp mask with 3M filters should be ok, but if not then we'd go
oxygene full resirc with interchangeable flasks on the back next.
Darth Vader basically :)
Can you play the fiddle as well?
Not everything in life is about some government trying to control the masses, our lives are already governed by rules and laws put in place to try and ensure society lives in some form of harmony.
Without laws, mankind would have killed off the entire world population, when I was at school it was termed "civilisation". Shame they no longer teach that!
You can bet the anarchists and "Freedom thinkers" would be the first demanding protection if their ideology became a reality.
One of the things he’s referring to is the possible introduction of COVID Passports in the UK, which have already been implemented in France. For many people this is a real violation of basic human rights. It’s like a demand for ‘Papers, please’ in order to engage in everyday activities. It would create a two-tier society, with those who have chosen not to take the so-called vaccines being denied access to public venues, perhaps even to food. You say that he doesn’t explain why the government would need to create an emergency to assume even more control. What he’s talking about is the Orwellian nature of what’s going on, which understandably raises a concern regarding the imposition of even greater top-down control. It all comes back to the issue of whether you believe that the government has people’s best interests at heart. I would argue that there are plenty of instances when the government has been caught out lying.
but besides covid, I'd like to know what irresponsible stuff he did.
Too much tax reduction to the rich? What else you got.
We already has 2 ID cards: a picture one for prove of age eligibility for booze and smokes and for employment and the driver's lisence.( Or state ID if you don't drive a car).
"Throughout his campaign and since taking office, President Donald Trump has promised to stand up for working people and families. But the most far-reaching bill he’s signed into law—the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017—was a handout for corporate America and the wealthy at the expense of working- and middle-class families. President Trump’s tax handout is estimated to cost $1.9 trillion between 2018 and 2027, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). As a result of the law, large corporations are receiving a massive tax cut—even bigger than what was originally expected. And while the law is running up federal deficits, it is having little or no positive effect on the U.S. economy, according to new research from the Congressional Research Service"
Lots of other sources to confirm it.
