Missing someone
Is there such a thing? Missing someone? What do you really miss if they dont exist in your life?
Just curious how we visualise missing someone.

You won't miss someone , whom you don't want to remember...
And you will only try to remember someone when they are not available to you in person ...
If you are separated by their death, it's the total loss of contact. Some believe that they are no longer afflicted by age or disease and can hear you. But whatever the case you cannot hear or hug them.
I try to console myself with the belief that's it's not goodbye, but so long for now. You'll meet again. And in the meantime, your dearly departed are no longer in pain.
You still miss them.
Interesting points. Some people believe you can 'remember' things that haven't yet happened. I think it can be called 'pre-cognition' (as opposed to re-cognition). A scientist from my own town wrote an interesting article on it a few years' ago.
"Jumping timelines"
Sometimes a person (family member or friend) can be here physically but in another frequency.
If and when the frequencies match again, then they are back in your life.
As for those who have passed, they are also here, but in another dimension or plane.
People are never gone...their spirit is still with us, but in another timeframe.
