He and the then Prime Minister are in exile in Russia under the protection of Putin.
The people in the video are complaining about that and are against the war, but if Viktor Yanukovych was left in control would he not have facilitated the take over of Ukraine by Russia?
I'm not saying that Ukraine should join the west but joining Russia under Putin? How could anybody agree to that. The bloodshed would be worse than the war.
An independent Ukraine with ties to a semi-democratic Russia with a properly elected and functioning government, yes, but that's not possible under a Russian Dictator.
And geopolitical simply means geopolitical. It's international politics as opposed to domestic politics. And the geopolitics of the last 8 months has seen Russia and China working much more closely together, and other powers such as India, Saudi Arabia and Brazil are likewise making changes and forging new alliances and moving away from the U.S. led so-called 'rules based order'. The world certainly is a' changing.
Some heavy ones that had real bad impact in more than just a handfull of people.
Like the US lie there was a reason to take out Gadaffi when his best friend was Nelson Mandela.
Something of that magnitude.
We need to find out how bad this monster really is don't we,
so educate us please if you have a moment.
People are going to freeze this winter because the majority of our current leaders have shown absolutely no interest in fostering peace. Tens of thousands have died in Ukraine, and tens of thousands more may die. U.S./NATO are conducting nuclear weapons drills as we speak - not far from Russia. And Russia is reacting and taking their own measures. This is absolute madness. I don't believe that it will come to nuclear war, but the mere fact that it's being talked about as an actual possibility should be enough to concern every aware living human being. It's a time of change. We are in the Fourth Turning. Leaders will come and go. Unrest is growing among populations. People do NOT want this instability and madness and at a certain point a breaking point will be met.

Putin will give peace a chance.
After he finishes destroying the country.
Then he will pull out, no need for peace talks.
Putin can't pull out without taking or atleast forever protect south east.
Be aware of that. Will he leave Odessa to the Ukranians, we'll see.
