Do you believe in zodiac sign?
Just come to think about horoscope - one of the hottest topics in school - I used to deal with people as well as their zodiac signs and I come to a conclusion, the accuracy of the horoscope for me stands for 70% or 80%. Me for instance, I am Aquarius, my best friends are mostly Libra and Aquarius. I do think zodiac signs show the general personality and compatibility in point. It says my opponent sign is Virgo, and according to my experiences I can hardly get along very well with Virgos because of our personality clashes... and as far as I have observed from my friends, I know Cancers are sentimental and of a loving and a caring nature which makes them excellent and caring parents; Leos are generous and open-minded, they may be egoistic and bossy and show deep love for magnificence and luxury, Leos are real kings; Virgos are very analytical; Libras are romantic, reasonable and thoughtful; Capricorns are are prudent and practical; and lastly - Me - Aquarius, they are among the intelligent in the crowd. A sense of humor, coupled with great intelligence and deep thinking make them stand out. They make loyal and honest friends. They are independent thinkers with great originality in their thoughts and actions. They may appear indifferent and less emotional. If you have an Aquarian around you, you may find it difficult to understand him/her. (hm, 90% correct for me, pardon me for having thick skin!

Considering the fact that there are 6.5 billion people on earth. If there are 12 signs, there would be 541 million people alike for each star sign. I consider that a distant probability. In fact, I find star signs often misleading.
Perhaps some traits on a very generalised perspective might be grouped to a star sign, but I am never sure.
On the contrary, my REAL experience, so far, of meeting people from across the globe is that every individual is unique and different from any other peron in the world.
So I prefer understanding people as they are and not merely by their star signs. It works better for me this way.
I would agree with Max on this one. I may be wrong, but I believe Astrology has been debunked as a science. In my personal experience I haven't found it to be true.
To give an example, my mom is a Taurus, and they are supposed to be highly material. She is one of the most unselfish and giving persons I have ever met, and she does not prize material things. She can be stubborn as a bull, but so can a lot of people. :)
I think you can find traits in your sign that match you, and some that don't. If I could guess my astrological sign by all their traits, I would probably say Aquarius, but that is not my sign by birth, lol.
If you enjoy it I'd say have fun but don't let it rule your life (especially in horoscopes or future predictions). No matter how many people around you follow a doctrine does not make it true.
I have had friends into astrology and I respect their personal beliefs- each are persons with wonderful insight and uniqueness of gifts.

I believe the exact and unique minute, hour, date, month, year you were born can tell you something. go to find some good fortunetellers, they can tell you something according to the exact time you were born.
because i am not generous or openminded and i do not love magnificence and luxury. i may be egoistic and bossy but i love simple and natural things.
and i am not a king. nobody will notice me as i am always silent when others are talking happily and loudly.
I think abit true about you when i read some of your blogs. You know, only generous people can do such of works. your opinion toward the people and community also good. I wonder if you do think how you write much things for others and trying to figure out something wrong in the world. I think your works is showing who you are a lot
I think your words meaning is strong so can be something like bossy sometimes!
I think kinda true, sometimes few people said i'm kind of bossy as well and i accepted that.sometimes i somewhat like what they said because of my strong mind.
It is interesting to me that people who have no knowledge at all about a subject write as if they have. There is no reason involved when someone debunks something they are ignorant about.
Watching the full moon alone should be indication enough that the planets, moon, and sun have an effect on us. It doesn't matter if one believes or not, but please speak about subjects of which you have some knowledge when giving an opinion.
To moonlove: Generous… I mean I am a miser when I said I am not generous. And thank you… did I “figure out something wrong in the world” in my blog? Now I am aware of it. Most of the time I don’t know what I am writing. Only others read what I wrote and tell me what I wrote can I realize what I have wrote.

Hello. Venusruled. Yes, it is a science and it works generally. But when coming to every single person, maybe it will not work… I think, you are a unique spirit in this big big world, and among so many people I will never be able to find another Venusruled who is completely like you.
I have a friend who is interested in a guy and we compared their charts. They have a lot of compatibility between them, but he is not coming into the relationship. His chart shows that the major key obstacle this life is his relationship with his father. Mercury (communication/mind) square (angular energy) Saturn (father). His father died and ever since he has been going through major internal hell. All his daddy issues are coming up and causing him to see how his father belittled his dreams and "encouraged" him to be someone he is not. That is just an example of why I enjoy Astrology. It enables me to find out what makes people tick so that I can understand them and give them what they need (if anything) from me to support them knowing themselves more clearly.
Fun fact: Since the moon rules women, it is said that women are actually more like their moon sign than their sun sign.
It seems to me, and this is just how it resonates with me, the birth chart is just a map given to us to help us remember who we are and what we intended to do tis life in these bodies. Part of the fun of incarnating is that we forget the Divinity that we are for a time so that we can play with being the opposite of who we are.
We are Spirit playing at being in form. We are immortal Beings playing at being finite. We are abundance playing with limitation. Then at the appropriate time, if it is our karma, we turn around in consciousness and start the journey back to know Who We Really Are. And Astrology can help with that process. What fun!!!

Definitely sounds like you don't think much of Astrology. Not a big leap there by anyone's standards. I didn't mention Astronomy
