North America

In school we were all taught that Christopher Columbus discovered North America in 1492. That however is inaccurate. the Norse arrived in Newfoundland around 1000 AD and made a settlement. Many artifacts were discovered and dated to that time. It is believed that the natives in Newfoundland at the time drove the Norse away.

This is in a place called L'Anse aux Meadows where the Norse landed originally.

The book of Mormon states that their original people entered America in 400AD, from the old world. This would have been from Babylon. So they have definitely got it wrong. Do you agree?
Correction. 400BC.
It is possible, lots of places in N America that has been untouched in recent times that could hold clues to those people coming here.
The Norse did beat Chritopher Columbus but the Natives who drove the Norse away beat the Norse's by roughly 50,000 years.
