Coffee drinker vs Tea drinker

There was a survey done many years ago about who loved outdoor activities among the coffee and the tea drinkers? I'm not sure if it is still relevent today.

The findings : Coffee drinkers were found to love outdoors compared to tea drinkers.

I am a coffee drinker and I love my coffee especially Nescafe. I can't live without it. When I was younger I loved jungle trekking, camping and travelling(still do) . I'm a member of Malaysian Girl Guides Association
(it is known as Girl Scouts in America). Now, I've slowed down a little. Once a while I will join in their activities.

I like both.
F instance I like commenting on cs, and I also like sailing.
Indoor / outdoor.

Coffy favorite: italian espresso served in small white cups in Italy.

Tea: Earl Gray.

Beibee, I tend to agree with the survey. When I worked in an office and was out on the road (not really outdoor activities) visiting construction sites. Coffee from Dunkin' Donuts was a daily routine. They are all over in my travels, you only have to drive a few miles to find one. I didn't like the taste (or the price) of Starbucks.
Sometimes, I'd go into itchy fits after drinking coffee and was told they often mix things to coffee, like chicory that adds a bitter taste. Instead, I've been buying 'cold-brew' coffee from the grocer, only when it's on sale - buy one, get one free.

My preference now is tea. I'll fill a 12 ounce glass of water, microwave it for a minute and add 8 large (yes 8) bags of tea and brew (only for) a few minutes. After, I'll remove and squeeze the bags not letting them soak longer. The tea gets poured into a pitcher and some diet lemon-lime soda with seltzer water mix. That creates a liter of mildly sweetened bubbly tea drink aka rocket fuel!

yay

I don't depend on caffeine daily and with me is unpredictable as I don't usually feel it's effects until a few hours later.
Unfortunately, infants die because of Nestlé, one of the four most boycotted companies globally.

I drink tea and enjoy outdoors activities.
Sometimes I like my solitude.
it depends in what part of the World those surveys are done. Some cultures do not really drink coffee, prefer tea. But outdoor activities, especially in a gardens and woods are the biggest part of their lifestyle.
I am kind of Rise and Grind woman. Only coffee beans. One cup in a morning, the rest of the day tea all the way. But on Pride of Persia, Akbar and with thyme, black currant leaves,Calendula and many more herbs, berries and tree buds. And of course some turmeriC, Nothing can beat the aroma of freshly brewed tea from a kettle boiled on a bonfire.
p.s. by the way coffee beans by Kicking horse, I fancy *Kick a*** kind, are really waking me up. wow laugh

Well, sorry Chat but it tells me that you are cheap. You even don't want to spend money to treat yourself with a good stuff. doh

Sorry again, but to me it sounds like a pure poison I even cannot imagine how people can drink that tea bag dust.

I am indoor person but like coffee. Tea? It depends what kind of tea and can ‘t say that I like tea more than coffee. Can live without tea but would be suffering if no coffee. Coffee must be very strong, black and no any creams nor sugars. peace

Hi, I like both too but can't live without Nescafe. As for tea, I prefer Chinese tea especially Jasmine green tea.

Nescafe is a must every morning. I have tried Starbuck once and dislike it. Too expensive too. Not that I can't afford but I don't like the taste.

Chinese tea always makes me calm. Used to enjoy Oolong tea but now prefer Jasmine green tea. The taste.....superb. I don't add sugar to my tea whether it's Chinese tea or black tea.

This is my first time I heard of this type of rocket fuel. Over here we have iced lemon tea but have not heard of anyone adding lemon-lime soda. Is it a canned soda?

Yes, I have heard / read the news long ago. Even doctors advised not to take Nescafe. The caffeine is too strong. I have tried to control my Nescafe intake several times but failed miserably. The longest I could go without it was 1 month. But after that, sigh...back to square 1. Now I have cut down to 1 or 2 glasses a day.

Yes, it depends on individuals.

I'm from Malaysia and most of us drink coffee . There are also quite a number of tea drinkers. I'm both but still can't live without Nescafe. I drink only Nestle Nescafe. I don't drink other brands except for local coffee.

Coffee wakes me up and tea calms me. Nowadays when I'm eating/drinking at a coffeeshop I always order both Nescafe and Chinese tea.
Grandsiozzie

I recommend Nescafe, it's lovely.

hahahaha...I second that.
Nescafe! Nescafe! You take my grogginess away. laugh
Well... I'm an outdoor person and never drink coffee.

As for tea, I only have one big mug of Earl Grey at breakfast.

During the day, I drink mostly water, and some fruit juice and coconut water.
Yessss.....If I don't have my coffee aka Nescafe, I will feel a bit of dizziness and once I have it, Up up and away I will go. hehehehe...laugh

I have asked many of my friends and those who drink coffee loved outdoors.

You sure drink healthy. Some said coffee is not a healthy drink. Tea is healthier than coffee. I drink both but coffee is a must every morning and sometimes afternoon.laugh
Caffeine is bad for you, and it is addictive!

Black tea contains a lot less. Green tea a bit more.

If I drunk coffee I would get palpitations.grin

One glass of fruit juice (orange, apricot, mango..) is a vitamin C booster.

A glass of pure organic coconut water a day supplements your potassium level

And also Konbucha is a very good probiotic drink.

At least one to one and a half liters of water a day (with lemon) is a MUST!
Yes, caffeine is bad and very addictive. I have friends who can't take Nescafe coffee (local coffee is ok for them) They will start having palpitations and headache. Most of my friends and colleagues drink black tea.

Thank you for sharing about the fruit juice. I usually eat fruits instead of fruit juice. Once a while I will juice them.
I grew up a tea drinker but have been drinking coffee in later years. I'm not much of an adventurer though laugh
I started drinking Chinese tea when I was 10 years old. I used to follow my father to a coffeeshop during the weekends. He always ordered Chinese tea and I joined him . As I grew up and started working, I began to drink Nescafe and the rest is history. Got hooked on Nescafe. crying
Nabob is my go to unless I get a chance to try some high end coffees. My sister gave me some a while ago, forget the names but most were a light roast, got to be careful how much you drink because its loaded with caffeine
I also eat fruit but I like my organic fruit juice, which I buy from a health food shop.

Fruit from supermarket are full of pesticides.

The only ones I have in my garden are lemons, and nisperos, which are ripe in March/April.
