Vanity Fair and City II (42)
Spring flowers, summer rains, autumn wind, and the winter sunshine… The world could have been so nice. However, we have been destroying it.Some friends sent me a message that we should bring an umbrella when going out, for fear that we will get skin cancer if the rains splash into our skin --- It is said that the volcanic ashes will become acid rains when combining with raindrops… So terrible.
Calamities are exactly like the raindrops, unable to stop. Yet the sky does not collapse. Maybe for some people, their sky has collapsed. Who knows.
Melanie’s sky seems to collapse. Having been staying at home for nearly three weeks, she is anxious and confused. She has sent some resumes to apply for some jobs, but none of them work. She asked: “Jan, what can I do?”
I don’t know. I even don’t know what I can do, let alone her. She began to regret that she quitted the job in that financial company in Shenzhen, after all, without her father’s and her fathers’ friends help, how could she work in a so good company. She is right. She may be unable to find another job which is as comfortable as that one, and which can afford her such a high salary.
Now she is “turning to any doctor she can find when critically ill comes”. That’s deadly. Her career and her life may be in a mess as she just wants to cling to the final straw. Not only losing our job will throw us into such kind of situation, losing our former love can also leads us to a chaotic state. We lose our former love, then we feel empty, then we will try anything when in a desperate situation… and make new mistakes.
As to regret, it changes nothing to regret. The past has been written. It will only hold us back. But we can not avoid it, especially when we are going down the road of our life.
The road of life… When we are going down the road, we have already been preparing for the next phase to go up again.

I like rain in summer. It will make the hot world cool.
Yes, I will continue. Thanks...
Thanks yan. Yea, I like this picture too. I like rainy days only in summer. Others I prefer cool, windy and sunny days.
