Do we really know each other?
After my short presence here the last couple weeks - I must have been here some time ago, because I logged on here recently and discovered I already had an account - I've made the observation that lots of us post in the blogs, but are we really honestly getting to know each other? I see the same faces, always looking for someone, especially in the "in your area" section, which in my case is Washington state. Then there are the discouraged, the ones who post blogs about giving up on women or giving up on men. Is it possible that even though we post a lot in the blogs, that we aren't really seriously getting to know one another? Just an observation that I thought was kind of interesting. This observation was prompted by the fact that there are three women on here in particular that I especially like, and I feel like I'm no closer to knowing them than I was when I started here.
It seems to me that if we were really serious about getting to know each other, then there should logically be many more people pairing off as couples. Am I right, or am I way off base here?

Probably why it is mostly up to the guy to make the first move

"Let me pose a question to the men (not the guys) if you are not the least bit interested in or attracted to a female could she convince you otherwise and could she win you over with her wit, beautiful personality or by the way she treats you?
Probably not."I beg to differ. A woman doesn't have to try very hard to capture my heart. "Wit, beautiful personality, and the way she treats me" are the keys to my heart.
I thought guys were men, and vice versa.
