Celestial Readings Astrological Update for Sept 18
Moon in Gemini squaring the Mercury/Sun conjunction in Virgo can provoke the oddest responses from people, certainly not what you’d expect, even from yourself. People’s true colors are showing, and we may be required to examine the motives of others to gain a deeper understanding of what’s (apparently) happening on the surface. There is no doubt that huge transformation is at hand.Pluto, planet of individual, cultural and generational transformation has been retrograde since late winter/early Spring of this year and we have been witness to great societal upheaval occurring on a global scale. The Retrograde principle creates a reactive retreat from the status-quo; from social and collective definitions. What happens is that expectations and pressures to respond to life in conforming ways breaks wide open. The retrograde phenomenon is a non-static process. In other words, it is highly active and reactive. It is similar to peeling off layers of an onion to reveal it’s core. Thus, there is continual growth for collective evolution to occur because half the people at any one time are questioning the status-quo in some ways. Uranus in Aries demands that we take off the rose-colored glasses. Saturn in Libra demands that we step up to the plate. Reformation is never easy, it is uncomfortable at best and downright destructive at it’s most provocative, but there is no other way for some of this worlds peoples/cultures to bring about the most necessary and fundamental changes in their lives.
But the heart of the matter is this: society is made up of individuals and the changes we are witnessing are really occurring on deep inner dimensions from individual to individual. People are questioning the purpose and intentions of others, from not just within their own small social network, but from within their own government. They are asking (and rightly so) ~what IS the best approach to achieve the best outcome? Ultimately, your way of life and your most cherished relationships are at stake.
In these tumultuous times, much is required and it is easy to feel you have come up short or are not doing or giving enough. If you are doing the best that you can, then you are doing all that is required, and that is enough. You alone are not meant to carry the world by yourself. Guilt is all too handy for most of us, you can only do what you are able to do. Beyond that you are beating yourself up, and there are enough angry people around willing to do that for you, so practice
letting it go. If you have done the best you can do, say to yourself, “I have done the best that I can; and I let the rest go.” ~Just saying it once out loud makes you feel lighter!
