So I lost a close friend, a few days ago.....

I rarely come this side of CS, maybe just commented on 2-3 Blogs; visit the forums often! My first Blog & a morbid one at that!
However I was so despondent after the passing away of my friend; that I felt I had release emotionally & find some sort of closure!
He was 49, relatively young in todays life expectancy averages.

But what shocked me was the suddenness of everything; I was with hime the evening before; he went home at 6.30pm & passed away in his sleep, 4am next morning.By 4pm the same day, his body was cremated & everyone returned to their seperate ways.
It almost was as if he never existed at all!
Sorry for the morbid post!

It's not morbid. You needed to talk about it. I was shocked a few years ago when a very close buddy passed away at the same age and left a beautiful wife, a young daughter and a son on the way! So I can relate to the sadness you feel.

Hi Elmorya, I'm very sorry for your loss! It is very shocking if someone close passes suddenly and I can understand you wanting to express your feelings about it.
Take the time to mourn and keep him alive in your memory; best wishes to you sad flower

I understand how you must feel, I lost an older man who I was closer to than my own father. I miss him everyday and that was many years ago...

Oh one more thing, he passed away in his sleep? That sounds peaceful. My father passed away in his sleep, too. Rest in peace for him. Be strongsad flower

I lost my Dad last month. We were not very close but he was still my Dad and now he is gone forever. There was alot of things I wish I would have said but now I can't.
