Sneaky.
I thought I would surprise my sister by just arriving at her place straight from the airport. My sister has a very reliable routine and I know she walks the dog at precisely 6am each morning. I would kill an hour at the airport when I got in then taxi over and wait behind a big tree across the road from her house. She walks out the door at exactly 6am, I enter her house with the key I have and hide in the pantry as the first thing she does after walking the dog is make toast and tea, which she gets from the pantry of course.Everything goes perfectly and as she opens the pantry door I yell "SURPRISE LITTLE BROTHER'S HOME" - she jumps with fright then says, "You do remember you told me you were coming today ."
No, no I hadn't remembered I had told her.I am about as sneaky as a hippopotamus trying to hide behind a lamp post.

My parents will be married for 45 years and we want to enlarge one of their wedding pics on canvas... and plan some surprise. None of us has an idea yet of how to get to the negatives of the wedding pics without my parents finding out

maupassant - there would certainly be a hold up at the bank, a hold up getting the money because of staff members uncontrollable laughter at the attempt.
