Impulsive me

A while back I decided It would be nice to go live in India again for six months, but got to thinking that at this time of the year it's getting really hot unless you live in the mountains, which I have already had the experience of on different occasions.

So, with only a few weeks left on my Indonesian visa and wanting some solitude I am going to live on an island off the coast of Thailand in a tree hut house for a few months. Three dollars a night, solar energy, old Thai lady owns the huts and provides meals ($2 Thai curries, rice etc) and laundry.Wanna see it?

If anyone is passing through Thailand, be sure to let me know and I'll clear the bugs and insects off the spare bed for ya.

Cheers

Hi Aswina - yeah, I'm a wanderer living a simple existence that's a little different. Fought it for a long time conforming to societal expectations, but now I have gone with what feels right for me I've never been happier. Not too many women want this lifestyle though unfortunately.laugh
woooooow blues envy !!!!
the view is soooooo beautiful
love it heart wings
Yes Hammockman,
understand women pls, we really are delicate flowers and your lifestyle is tough. Majority really are not strong enough to face wanderer living. In fact Ham... all valuable is worth sacrifice and all has advantages and disadvantages. Live your life as good as you can, that is enough!hug
Hi Bambi - yeah, I think it is pretty cool too.

Aswina - I understand most women would find this kind of lifestyle a trial. However, I have met a few who wish to lead a minimalistic existence wandering about, and truth be known I always I would meat "the one" in such a place as these I visit. Here's hoping this time.
@marlene : i think he need tho bring portable toilet peace

Oh, cute nipa hut Ham. I am not used to stairs so this one will be a challenge for me, hehe. What I love is the beach. yay
Ya nice hey shay? Very secluded and quiet. Looked at the Philippines as you know but thought here would be best at the moment.

Maybe Philippines later in the year. When are you going to be there?laugh
parti - carving spear heads would certainly be a relaxing way to pass the time, or carving a nice bone for the nose.
Ham, My Auntie owns a small part of land in an island. She and her husband has a house there now. Secluded, no electricity, only few people are living there. My father maintains the property as my Aunt is living in the US. I wanted to post the photo here but I don't have the photo just now. I'll do that later when I am home. But I have the image on "my puzzle section". Just have a look. The two pics from the bottom of my puzzles, the first one is the view from the front and the second one is the nipa hut. My Aunt allows visitors, so maybe I'll see you sometime in August? hehe...
Here, I found a way. Got the URL from my fb page.

Will do Ham. I'll let you know and would reserve the place for you. You love seafoods? Fresh seafoods every day. And you get to go with the fishermen to go fishing. We do have two small boat for fishing.
It all looks and sounds perfect, shay. If you have time at some point, can you email me the name of the island or area so I can do a bit of research and get a better idea of the region. Thanks.
