new planning...

Well just had a phonecall from the hospital.. they have moved the date for the surgery.. Instead of december 27th they wanna do it on november 15th. So next thursday might be the big day.. Not sure how i will get all my paperwork in order, not to mention how i will manage the further supervision on works being done to my house. I still had so many things to organise so the works wouldn't slow down.. but i guess even if they get pushed back a few months it will be worth it. I'll just try and get as many things ready as i can. Now just hope my boss can solve this sudden change in plans to make sure someone is there to replace me.
I do have a good feeling about this.. Not allot of time to get nervous now.. I guess it will all be over before i know it.

yeah , the study of the inside of your eye lids will continue for some time after your brain wakes up , and your hearing will connect long befor your eye-lids have the strength to move ...banana teddybear
the robotic arms have the benefit that you can change the movement speed.. for example moving your hand about 5 cm could just be a mm for the robotic arm wich makes it allot easyer to work very precise. A very important step forward in some fields of surgery.
and then there are fears of .....are you a human being , inside or are you an alien from another planet in a skin suit!! banana
hi frank i still do not understand are you going to be operated by the robots arms or not ted

and if that is the case i think that it wont leave any scar

are you a doctor frank?

is virgo under some kind of trip or what/
frank is it rough where you live or not?
hahaha i was wondering how long it would take you to bring in a video virgo... must have been hard having to wait so long rolling on the floor laughing
I timed it well , as a good virgo dose , and made use of the time off here to paint my boat ...banana
Angi , Im not a doctor I'm an engeneer . I just happened to see the demonstration and started to ask questions ( you know how these engineers are ). Well the guy and I started to talk technical ( nerd lingo ) and that is when he asked if I wanted to try them or not . We talked and played with them for quite a while. I suspect that it was drawing quite a crowd to his demonstration .

They are baiscly just two arms ( more can be added ) that are over the operating table . On the other side of the glass is the operating station that the surgon uses . Being robotic extentions they can do things that human hands can not . They can rotate 360 degrees and they can double ( even triple ) joint so as to get into diffacult places . They can move, hold change and remember whatever is required . They are just inreadible devices .
i understand i saw it on tv today great as i understand they do not leave a scar either
frank is it rough where you live?
goodnight all.. if ya have more questions just put em up here frank.. i'll find them tomorrow.
maybe if it is rough you prefer not to answer
good night ted
frank is not answering i think i go to bed i am tired good night everybody thank you for having being good company sweet dreams
Angi, sorry for the delay but what do you mean by " Rough " . .confused
there you are i was just going to bed by rough i mean is there a lot of unemployment for example or is it a tourist destination
Angi , Puerto Rico is a very touristy orented Island . Unfortunately with the depression it isn't up to capasity now . Unemployment is higher than the States not only because of the downturn in tourism but manufacturing has been slowly going to India and China . The big pharmacuticals are still here and theyare trying to promote new high tech manufacturing here . It is a joint goverment and UPR ( Universidad De Puerto Rico ) project . There is also nano tech labs in the universitys now . They are trying to be cutting edge . The only thing holding them back is the economy .
Wishing you a speedy recovery teddybeerke bouquet
thank you very much frank for anwering to my question yes it seems that all over the world everything is going cutting edge

with the new technology let hope they are trying to keep us safe and not the other way round

it is normal to be frightened as everything is going so fast

that is the way i see it anyway

once again thank you for answering

i am off to bed now
The sooner you have it behinde you, the sooner you can smoke again! See your former blog.
There will be a sudden absence of Teddy on or about the 15th as Teddy heads for surgery. Hopefully, all will turn out great for Teddy, and he'll be back before we know it. Does Belgium have Thanksgiving Day? If so, I hope Teddy is recovered enough to enjoy it. Kind of ironic that Teddy provides so much happiness at the hospital, and this time it'll be others' turn to entertain Teddy.
thank you 1bell4truth and beagle... oh beagle.. that would be wonderfull news... I would really want to smoke one now.. But i won't.. crying
huggerman.. thanks.. thanksgiving is an american holiday.. not sue if they celebrate it anywhere else. We don't have it.. but then again we always find a reason to party. I am greatfull that I will still be able to do my own entertainment in december.. I shoudl be recovered enough by then.. It might be a bit hard to organise the meetings but i'm sure me and my friends will find a way.. and not to forget we have years of experience so we are know pretty much what to do.. and now i'll be home allot so i will have more time to study on the kids names and what they want and all that.

This surgery will be a big thing offcourse but I am very confident about it. I have been to many hospitals and i've seen allot of people who are in far worse situations then mine.. So if those kids have the strenght to keep fighting against cancer I must do my part and not complain about a very basic surgery. Its nothing compared to what those children have to endure.
if I am not mistaken Teddy and if I am someone will correct melaugh They have a thanksgiving in canada and maybe mexico. Just not on the same date as the united states. Ok now I will check back later to see if I was right or wrong uh oh I gotta start to google these things doh
