Scenes from my 8 Km walks (+Hols)

I really do enjoy a stroll through my neighborhood; it is fun, exciting & one is always pleasantly surprised by the sights and scenes, you're likely to chance upon. Us, country folk, remind you that life is to be lived..

For instance this yard has some buck or deer...

while this presents you with varying poultry; ostrich, geese & ducks!

A pair of horses, enjoying the morning sun's rays..

Guinea fowl in the distanced, surprised to see me...

My best stretch is a 1 km "forest", through which a rivulet flows...
Beautiful, smells of nature with winds whispering amongst the trees & birds greeting you...

With all the rains, many dams form naturally on properties..

This place had the cutest Basset hounds...

Hi G...No, I know it's not safe, just kidding...

for a 12 000 sq meter plot, I pay about $200US, only on rates, electricity & water is separate...but I also have bore hole water. Safe, has been tested & I use it for nearly 17 years. Property sizes vary from 5000 - 35 000 sq meters.
