I got her! She's back!
I'm so relieved!
She has been missing since 3pm yesterday - I didn't sleep a wink the whole night and spent the best part of this morning driving around, looking for her...Ever since my divorce a few years ago, she has been my close & constant companion, sleeping in the same bedroom, accompanying me to the shops and sometimes even to work and on my daily walks around my neighborhood.
I was fraught with worry & anxiety...send out a few Face-book messages & mails to out local block & neighborhood watch.....
It paid of...got a tip-of where she was locked up & released her at 2pm today!
Silly girl had run of in the opposite direction, during a sudden lightning & thunderstorm - away from home! She was on the street when it occurred...
But I just so happy to get her back from the SPCA, where a kind lady had dropped her of for safekeeping.... Joy to the world!

well, glad that she's back and so you can sleep well from now.
While my big guys will be day dreaming of FKC's...
My little one will sniff potential intruders +- 200m away, she jump through any open window & be charging of yapping her "war cry" & to alert the big mutts!

She is free to run & roam around the property; I do not cage or chain her as she is a very free spirited being.....
Unfortunately she get through the bars at the sliding gate, at entrance of property.....but in 7 years has never gone further than a few hundred meters before returning home.....as I mentioned above - unfortunately a sudden storm scared her into running in the opposite direction..
But yes, thank you for your comment - I will look at putting a fine mesh wire fence over the gate in future...

Just an idea, why don't you go over to your local animal shelter & check?
That's where I found my dog...but there are also other abandoned or rescued animals there and who knows - maybe a little cute kitten or puppy will walk in to your life..
