Perception ..
The President of the company does not like me ... so i was told. but i only had 1 encounter with him. it was a very brief encounter though. we were both waiting for the elevator at the lobby one morning.when i stepped foot into the lobby, i saw him standing there. i greeted "good morning, sir".
after 1.5 years of being in the company i am finally told by someone that he has no good impression of me ?!
i asked why and was there any feedback or 'small talk' why he has a negative perception of me. but i dont have my answers.
i have concluded that "" Perception is NOT a reality, unless proven guilty!!""

yeah, unless i am told what is wrong and i change for the better otherwise, what the hell !!
i am doing good, lady. of cos, i think of my dear friend from time to time. good to see u around too.
Keep on doing your great work @ your office
francie, thanks for the encouragement... hope u are doing well.
well, since i dont hear of what is wrong with me , as Angel, let sleeping dogs lie.
thanks for sharing your thought though.
Believe me a President of a company does not go around having 'small talk' in connection of whom he likes and dislikes, not even with his PA. He would never have reached that goal with pettiness.
Sounds more like a busybody thats jealous on you.
i am totally not bothered !!
But he should respect you as a worker.
Don't be afraid to ask for his evaluation of your progress.
as this is in the best interest of you him and the company.
If it is culturally acceptable
As Hans said Pay less heed to the whispers of nobodies.
"That's so astute!" I answered with a smile and playful eye contact. "What gave me away?"
"Don't take no rocket scinetist t figir that one out," he growled. "Whar yew frum?"
"Me?" I sighed, "Oh, I am from Elsewhere. It's a little town about 200 miles south of here."
"Yew jest be sure you stay outta trouble lessen I have to arrest ye."
"Oh, Yessir! I got my mind right, Boss! Right here, shakin it!" I assured.
I have remained friendly and playful and I think I'm breaking him down! Soon, he'll be hittin' on me in madness! (Time to get out of Dodge, me thinks.)
