JUST when I thought there was NO chance...
...that I'd ever meet ANYbody here, I am contacted by this charming b@st@rd in Ireland. Yes, you may recall a couple of months ago when I lamented I had gotten my first hate letter. Well he insulted me to kick off -- and I flayed him. I poured out a spate of vituperation the likes of which hasn't passed my lips or fingers since I was in my 20s. Caught me at an off moment, he did, and I can be a handful. THEN, I repented and sent him an apology, explained I'd been "slightly irked" at what he'd said and asking if he'd like to "play pretty now". He wrote back, amused at my incandescence and said "slightly irked?! I'd hate to see you when you were truly vexed. Did you want to shag me first, or get down to killin' me straight away?""AT last," thought I, "a man with a sense of humor, erudition and serious stones".
So, we've been exchanging emails and pictures and the like daily (sometimes several times a day) since. We've a lot in common and we've come to be good friends. In fact, I really love this man, as a soul. He's exceptional and kind and ornery at the same time. He's talented and witty and he cares: notices when I seem off or unhappy and inquires. This just MIGHT go somewhere. Where, I don't know but I am grateful for this grand friendship whatever else happens. ANYway, that and work and writing have kept me away, and they are likely to continue to keep me mostly away. But I esteem many of you all here and count you friends so I wanted you all to know what was/is going on. I can't wait to meet him. What a collision that's gonna be...
LOve and luck to all of you.

missed you like crazy around here
Soooo is he you know who
Been wondering what you are up to.
NO, he's no one around here. As soon as we started chatting, he deleted his profile. I asked him why and he said "I was on the way to leaving when I found your profile and, once we started talking, I figured I had found as interesting a woman as I was likely to find there." (Roughly.) Anyway, presently, there's a lot of sparks between us and super good rapport and communication. He seems to know me instinctively. It's one of those rare cases of being "recognized". We're so much alike we read each other well.
I have also been writing and editing like cRaZy! Getting the first book in my fiction series ready to go live on @m@zon. I edited 600 words off it and it flows much better and I added some intense scenes that give it better continuity. It sizzles! I can hardly wait to go live with it.
How is Itchy doing?

Your man sounds lovely, funny tho how he caught you when he was just about to leave, you know what they say... if somethings for you,it won't pass you soooo who knows this irish rover might just be a true love of yours but what will you do then???must say, but your one brave little lady.
I'm grand, not been burnt at the stake yet...
but its not cos of the want of someone trying
more like a shortage of matches i think.
Any chance you might be in the west???
just so you know here in Galway, there is a welcome mat for you.
We shall see how it all works out. Presently, I just like him an awful lot (even though he's a charming runt). We took a quick liking to one another and I much admire the way his mind works and his kind and loving manner. He's a nice man with a lOoNy sense of humor. I just love to hear a man laugh. Love to make them smile.
I look forward to meeting you one day. He's about right in the middle of the island. Easy hop to anywhere, but let's keep me gagged or sedated in northern Ire. I am a confederate, after all...
