SUNDAY

Is Sunday in anyway special to you?

I have a little Routine. An Early morning Car Boot Sale for fruit and veg and maybe find a DVD or something weird for the garden.

Truly, it's the day that I miss my family the most.

When I was young Sunday used to be the day for Church and visiting my grand parents.

How things change! sigh

My Sunday is a day that in no way is any more special then any other day of the week. I do not go to church and I have never done that. Today I've been outside in the biggest church of all, Mother Nature and a friend and I have walked a good time. The fall colors has started to show so it is a feast to walk in the forest now. I love the fall and it's rich smells and good looking colors.

Autumn is my favourite time. Warm/vivid colours, crackly leaves under foot and long shadows.

I agree that the outdoors is our Church. Off to walk my dog along the river now.

Rain: i'm just back from a long walk with my Jack Russell, through the woods....somehow, enjoy it more when i am alone. No conversation, just for the sake of it. Me, my dog, and my own thoughts....yay

On Sundays, I go to Mass with my son. I participate as an usher...after Mass, we go to lunch. It's our Sunday ritual. I enjoy my Sundays. wave

Hello Raincomeshine,wave , Sunday to me is my lazy day, but as a kid it was special. When I was a kid, stores , bars, government offices weren't open. In its own special way it was a Family day.I remember the family would go visit my grandparents farm, or my father and I would go fishing.And at the end of the day a big family supper would summon the days end.Wish we could go back to those days.yay yay yay
