This is Hercules
He is a Liger, a cross between a Lion and a Tiger. He is currently one of the largest cats on Earth. He is a very gentle animal and has not been taught how to hunt. He likes having his belly scratched, drinking milk from a baby bottle and playing with beach balls in the water. Like most tigers he does not fear water and like a big brown bear can even hold his breath and swim underwater whenever they so desire. Bet you thought going into the pool would create a safety zone, didn't you? Hercules and the other big cats never watched a Tarzan movie so he and they don't know Hollywood says they can't swim, play or hunt underwater.
Some people can rock the boat. Hercules can rock the bus. LoL, he can probably roll the bus like a ball if he wanted to.

Thank you for sharing these pictures
Mimi, cats do not care if the play thing at the bottom of the pool is wearing anything or not. Although, as you noted elsewhere long hair makes a good tooth floss.
But, what if his natural killer instinct kicks in...?
But hey, thanks for the compliment.
Noting also she wore flippers to be fast, but tiger swam faster. Even underwater.
male Lion + female Tiger = Liger
male Tiger + female lioness = Tigon
Tigons tend to be smaller than both parents though. Also very sadly they do not exhibit 'hybrid vigor' and are prone to many diseases and cancers.
Ligers on the other hand exhibit 'hybrid vigo' and grow much larger than either parent species. They can go 1,000 pounds. They rarely get sick and are also smarter than their parent species, and they can breed true.
It is fortunate that Ligers tend to be gentle animals and sad that they eat so much.
