Today is a typically British summer's day. Rain!

But we've had plenty of sunshine too recently.

Wonderful... do you have air conditioning?

comfort
@RainComeShine...its India dear here electricity bill is enough for a common man if he has an air condotioning.....yeh anyone can have it if he has a good income but as im learning from my life..my father is a government employee and still he doesn't consider himself that is he able to bear the bill of even a single air conditioning..now i leave all on u to understand about the conditions..
thankyou jarred
RainComeShine what temperature is there?? here its 36°c ...and still its very low it will go to 43°c-46°c in recent coming day and we will have to pass those days without air conditioning cuz we can afford it.
in India 97% of people live without air conditioning..
Drink Iced tea....Go out under a tree...Enjoy life....No hateapplause
thankyou ice tea a good option..but going under a tree sounds likeim a villeger..i live in big city and im taking about conditions of advance city where i live..
No trees ok under somewhere is shadewine

Do you have a fan? If you do! Place a bowl of ice in front of the fan. And let the window half away up!...hug
What a fantastic idea, Pepper.

It get's unbearably hot here in Wales, sometimes over 20C!!!

giggle
Wear white my friend and woven not knitted fabric.

Black T shirts our not good in the heat.
wave Hi wonderfullife! I live in a tropical climate here and I know about airconditioning and electric bills. In the summer my bill can reach as high as 400 us dollars blues A few weeks ago my ac broke so I am without right now. So far so good professor I have been shopping for new ac but not in a rush. My neighbors who mostly have transplanted here from the north think I should be running around like crazy looking for a new one. No need. I never lived in a home with air till i was almost 40 dunno I love the heat and the summer. August and September not so much. Baby Gators and Snakes start hatching then and all the reptiles are irritated so have to watch where I step. uh oh I have a beach and go for a dip. Don't know what I would do if I lived in a big city. Wear light clothes and good deodorant that works for me. Sorry you don't like the heat. hug
yeh angel i have fan but its not so helpful in so much hot weather ..
u r welcome jac.
welcome to my blg Happygolucky....hug
Wonderfullife...Humidity is the thing that we all hate in the hot weather! Here in Midwest we too have the days of heat & humidity which join together to make us drip and stick to wherever we are sitting...UNLESS. we are in that blessed AC...oh how wonderful it is!!!!! But not all can have it here either so we seek the shade outside and inside we use electric fans that will move the air and help to dry us off. Also, creating some ice cubes to use in our water or tea seems to help and if you can place ice on the pulse spots (wrist, side of neck) it does help cool you down...maybe it is the icy trickle as the ice melts :)grin Someway we get thru those months of heat/humidity don't we? So when given a choice between summer and winter...guess what...I still take summer! Midwest winters....that is another story!!!!!....Avias
Flyjames and avias ..thankxx for ur comments..i can understand ur all points but realy the i think 43°c is not for human living ...my point is government should take neccessary steps to provide air conditioning to the all levels..
Wonderfullife...Just curious about electricity provided to you...you are in Mumbai, big city, and I would think that area should have good provision for electric rates...something like alternative energy...hydroelectric,wind turbines...what is the source of your electric power?
wonder
Sorry to hear that your summer there is unbearable...but if electricity is too expensive for air conditioning...angel gave you some good advice...a fan and a bowl of ice cubes by an opened window... better than nothing...
thanxx for ur comment avias but there is no alternative..we only use which is provided by the govenment.
thanx lolou...ill adjust though im a big hard winter lover ....but unfortunately i get only 10 to 15 day in a year when the temperature is lowest and its hardly goes to 3°-1°c and unfortunately no snowfall on that temperature is possible..i wish to own a place in future where atleast ill enjoy 6 months snowfall and rest 6 month comperatively low winter season and only few days lovely kissing sunshine ..
hello Ed ..how r u.
