Done it again

Well, I guess that this just proves once again that I'm none too bright.

I know. A lot of you on here have already suspected that to be the case.

I wasn't going to say anything about this to anyone because I should know better
by now.

My father used to say, 'too soon old, and too late smart' But I never listened.

Here's the story;

I sent an e-mail to a lady with a new profile a few days ago. (Why not?)
She actually answered me within an hour. (So far, so good!)
This lead to a flurry of back and forth of about 60 e-mails. (Potential!)
She was in the right age group. She was in my preferred size, shape and culture. (Happy happy)
Idiot boy Vikingson was starting to get some feelings back in an old cold heart. (Stupid)
This morning, her profile disappeared. (Damn)

I really don't know what to think. I don't know if she's real and I scared her off, or if she's a fraud and got caught before she closed the web........

If she's real, and if she's timid, and if she sneaks back on here and reads this, I hope she writes to me.

Viking, don't burn too much candle on your search. My suggestion, with that so many emails, did you suggest skype perhaps?

Maybe, then you can tell if she is for real. Or that she found another one. But for heaven's sake she could have at least told you that.dunno

Don't lose hope Viking, you will find her as she will find you and love for the both of you.bouquet wine
Thanks Lindsycool
Thanks ek.....I can always count on you to be positive and supportive.

Like I've said before, too bad we're so far away........

Perhaps she blocked you..???
There are more potential reasons than answers.

Maybe you did scare her off; maybe she had something else going on in real life; maybe she met someone else, etc., etc.

Don't invest too much in someone you have never seen. Enjoy the messaging and flirting, but keep your heart for a real life person, not typed words on a screen.
It disappeared, without having told words,
Having closed the world from all a wall.
Perhaps, there was no way of other,
Perhaps it was the rush accidental.
It disappeared, without having told words
Having suddenly dissolved on the Internet
Having begun to live, perhaps, life new,
Having decided to keep it from all a secret.
It disappeared, without having told words,
Having presented you once with a fait accompli
But I trust – it will return again
The Viking without it to you it will be sad...
Someone loses, and someone finds,
Someone leaves, and someone comes,
Someone sobs, and someone laughs,
Change of events by life is called.
