how lucky

we all are, we are alive. we are intelligent we are articulate.
We are connecting in a way today That thanks to technology would be,
I'm sure unbelievable to generations not so long past.
As a matter of fact Some people today refuse to believe our technology is our own, The great good harvests of our intellectual evolution is that of
Aliens or inter-dimensional Angelic Messengers. And that demons or lizard people are pulling humanities strings ensuring mankind is capable of great atrocities, and that we are merely pieces on a chess board positioned between heaven and hell.
Personally I think its all on us the good the bad.
The Pleasure and the Pain. All down to me !
There are none of us good yet we all contain the seeds of greatness.
So rather than than being the administrator of death by one thousands cuts, I will try to nourish these seeds where ever I find them.

May the force be with you.

My Blog for not replying to other blogs

Most bloggers like their readers to comment on their blogs, but, sometimes, the reader has no comment to offer. So, if after reading a blog, you find you have nothing to say, then rather than offend the blogger by not commenting on their blog, you can come here and not comment on this blog, instead.

There will, of course, be the usual smart arses wanting to spoil it for everyone else by leaving a comment on this blog, but, be warned, any comment posted on this blog will be immediately left where it is, with no exceptions. I am sorry to be so strict on this point but I feel it is necessary in order to counter any attempts to undermine the purpose of the blog.

It will be very interesting to see how many replies this blog manages to not accumulate.

It's hard to know what to worry about the most

The main choices seem to be:

1 The imminent showdown between God and Satan will bring forth a medley of unnatural disasters, the like of which we can hardly imagine.

2 The entire World is soon to be taken over by fanatical Muslims.

3 The Illuminati, to the soundtrack of Beyoncé and Madonna, are going to take control of our minds and enslave us in their New World Order.

Not to mention all the lesser tragedies we keep being warned about in these forums and blogs that are coming our way.

What on Earth is to become of us?

night of the stars!

I don't party much anymore, as age is catching up on me. However, I was invited to a party last week themed "NIGHT OF THE STARS" I must say it was very exciting.

I didn't have a male companion, and had to ask a girlfriend to accompany me. It felt so good to dressup again after a long time, and to experience the glitz and glamour. So as you can see for one night I let my hair down and just became a star.

I will however only leave this photo on for a day or so, I just wanted to show off a bit,,,,well to actually say, that I'm not too old to still show a bit of leg.

virgosign

The Virgosign on a beard.

So yesterday I visited my mum at her retirement home and after the initial hellos, and a lack of a conversational subject, she asked me about my beard, and how in her opinion I would look younger without it. Then this morning I woke up with mum's words on my mind, and sure enough I did something about it. I gave myself a crew cut .... and kept the beard.
Peace cool

Dominant Jean...

I've been known to wear clothes until they are rags. Polo shirts for work date back to companies I was with 20 years ago and they don't go to waste as they become cleaning rags for car polishing (note to self, polish car this weekend) but my Jeans are a different story as they have zippers and snap-buttons. It's rare, but when a zipper breaks and I'm not able to repair it, the cost of having a seamstress replace the zipper is usually more than buying a new pair of jeans.
Those Jeans with broken zippers have been placed in clothing donation bins for recycle so someone can decide what to do with them.

When the snap breaks, I've been known to sew on a button, but the stress it too great and the button often comes loose. So, there have been several favorite Jeans of mine, stacked on a chair in the closet that are missing snaps.

Amazon sells replacement snap button kits in 2 different styles.
The first having to punch a hole where the back part gets hammered into the front. The other style uses a small flat screw to attach the button. I chose the one with the screw and it works perfectly!

Now, one of my favorite Jeans is wearable again and it's correct to refer to it as the Dominant Jean.

Thanks for reading my blog...

Polished chrome...

Satin nickle finish for bathroom fixtures and cabinet hardware was popular for a decade. A few years before that it was polished brass with a few years of oil rubbed bronze. I've always resisted fashion and stuck with polished chrome and I see some of my clients are in agreement with that now. While all of the major manufacturers have a handful of different finishes, one of my suppliers only has polished chrome or satin black.
That makes it easy for me... chrome or black.

Watches

I know watches aren't worn as much in today's society due to people deciding to get their time off their cell phones. I think most to these types are probably Generation Y (also known as Millennials - Born between 1982-2000), and some in Generation Z (born between 2000-.2018).

Some in my generation (X) have stopped wearing watches, and instead depend on their phones for the time as well. Not me, I still prefer wearing a watch. You can say that I'm particular (some would say fussy) about the type of watch I like to have and wear. I have three different kinds that I alternate between. Down below are the watches I have.

If you're still into wearing a watch, feel free to share what type and/or the pic of what it looks like.

As for my Fuchsia color watch, some at work have fun with me and call it pink. laugh But then, my ex did too, so...
