Watches

I know watches aren't worn as much in today's society due to people deciding to get their time off their cell phones. I think most to these types are probably Generation Y (also known as Millennials - Born between 1982-2000), and some in Generation Z (born between 2000-.2018).

Some in my generation (X) have stopped wearing watches, and instead depend on their phones for the time as well. Not me, I still prefer wearing a watch. You can say that I'm particular (some would say fussy) about the type of watch I like to have and wear. I have three different kinds that I alternate between. Down below are the watches I have.

If you're still into wearing a watch, feel free to share what type and/or the pic of what it looks like.

As for my Fuchsia color watch, some at work have fun with me and call it pink. laugh But then, my ex did too, so...

I love the old watches. This is my Grandfather's Rockford Winnebago. I had it serviced in 2015. It still runs well. I also have a 1957 Hamilton Railroad Watch.

Problem is if you wear a watch then chances are you have more than 1,which means you are never sure what the correct time is
frustrated
Nah, not a problem. All three of mine are set to the exact time. thumbs up
Correction, two are. The black one I have needs a battery.
I get a lot of compliments on the red one when I do wear it.
Unless you have an atomic watch then then will be within +/- 5 seconds a day

So if you have 1 running 5 seconds fast and another 5 seconds slow

You will have a discrepancy of 1 min a week

That would describe my car clock. I get it set exactly the time it is, and after about 2-3 weeks it's behind a minute. Three months later, it's now 4 minutes slow.

Emporio Armani purchased for my Birthday almost 20 years ago. Still going strong though costs a fortune to have cleaned so I'm letting it run it's course and batteries don't last as long but at £6 for a replacement every 6 to 8 months it's a lot cheaper than a £150 clean

I've just swooned a little at this one. laugh

Such beauty and perfection.
I retired my diver's watches when cell phones came out as being redundent as the phone shows the time. However, sometimes I work in places that don't allow cell phones inside. In such places I wear a cheap $20 Casio I got at Walmart.
@Shawn....hi!wave
Hey, babe!! wink
I wear Amazon’s halo view at the moment. It’s like a Fitbit watch because as you all know I struggle with weight so it is supposed to aid me in getting my daily steps in. It does well, I get 3300 steps in daily. That’s about 1.5 miles. Next month I will up it to 3400 daily steps.
