Donald Trump losing his grip

Today from Salon;

Donald Trump is getting desperate — and his mental pathology is getting worse every day

Alan D. Blotcky

Wed, October 21, 2020, 7:00 AM EDT

Despite the outbreak and spread of the coronavirus at the White House, Donald Trump still insists that "it's going to disappear." To make matters worse, he proclaims, "We have a cure." We have lost 220,000 Americans to a deadly pandemic. And what does he say? "I'm immune. So the president is in very good shape to fight the battles." He continues to promulgate lies and misinformation about the pandemic.

At his rally in Florida in front of 7,000 supporters, Trump announced, "I feel so powerful. I'll walk into that audience, I'll walk in there, kiss everyone in that audience. I'll kiss the guys and the beautiful women, just give you a big fat kiss." This is hypomanic hypersexuality from our president.

Last Thursday evening at his town hall on NBC, Trump admitted that he had retweeted a QAnon conspiracy theory that the killing of Osama bin Laden was fake and had been staged by Barack Obama and Joe Biden. A bizarre conspiracy theory gone awry.

On Friday, Trump told a crowd in Georgia that he "might have to leave the country" if he loses the election to Biden. That sounds like a semi-confession of his corruption.

At a campaign rally in Wisconsin on Saturday, he asserted that the National Guard's physical altercations with protesters were "beautiful." Trump's glorification of violence.

At his rally in Michigan on the same day, he criticized Gov. Gretchen Whitmer — recently the subject of a kidnapping plot busted by the FBI — and the crowd chanted, "Lock her up." His response: "Lock them all up." Trump's vindictiveness toward political foes.

Donald Trump is a desperate man. His recklessness is growing by the hour as his poll numbers are failing and his presidency is coming to a crashing end. His mental pathology is front and center. His psyche is unraveling before our eyes.

Trump is in an existential crisis of his own making. George Conway — a lifelong Republican, Washington attorney and co-founder of the Lincoln Project — summed it up best when we reached out to him: "We've seen how he is continuing to reach new depths. He realizes he is headed toward destruction."

Trump is now wildly out of control with his ranting tweets, lies, conspiracy theories, threats, gaslighting and erratic behavior. His pronouncements are getting more disturbed and destructive. He is telling senior citizens that they are not vulnerable to the coronavirus. He is telling the public that they should not let the coronavirus dominate their lives. He even stated that he must be a perfect physical specimen because he recovered from COVID-19 so quickly (completely disregarding the powerful cocktail of drugs he received). He was recently live on the air twice in one day on Fox News, airing his unmoored grievances, soothing his injured ego, projecting ridiculous grandiosity and collecting narcissistic fuel.

Alarmingly, Trump is losing his grip on reality. He is agitated. He seems to be hypomanic — quite likely exacerbated by his COVID-19 medications. He has become paranoid. He has been calling out for his political opponents to be indicted. He has been preoccupied with a totally fake conspiracy theory about Barack Obama and Joe Biden spying on his campaign. He is lashing out at some of his most loyal cabinet members. He is even blaming Gold Star families for giving him COVID-19.

Living rent free

Chris Matthews, Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert, Alison Camerota, Alex Baldwin, Madonna, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Jake Tapper, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Lynn Cheney, Joy Reid, and so many others are obsessed with their hatred of Donald Trump. The Donald is living rent free in their heads. It's amazing that with inflation so high along with gasoline food and any other items that have to be transported that they would still be so fixated on Donald Trump. Their President is fumbling, bumbling and crumpling the economy while continuing to spew their vitriol on Donald. Other than ruin the economy, slow down learning in schools, make friends with Iran and others that hate us, what have you done to make America a better place to live and prosper?

Donald Trump lives rent free in all of your heads.

Jordon peterson discussions

Jordon peterson is really on form in this interview...the interview is regarding the dutch farmers protests and other protests...the disruption to the supply chain....the wef cult attacking meat production and wanting all the great unwashed/the majority...to eat bugs or starve

the wef unelected cult...want all of us to own nothing and them to own everything..the megalomaniac control freaks in the 1%...really do think billions will let this happen..but i say support the farmers and make a standwink

imagine a nightmare reality...of worldwide communist dictatorship and any freedom...a long distant memory...imagine not having freedom of choice...freedom to eat the foods you enjoy...freedom to travel where you want too...freedom of expression...freedom of speech...freedom of creativity....owning nothing of your own....living each day....just surviving and having nothing to look forward too

Yes...you reading this

You must have experienced this Or you are the culprit..
The very first thing I do is go through a profile when someone likes/message /view/favourite Me

Lies lies lies...I wonder what your really want when all you type is gibberish. MAN UP...unless you don't know what that entails.

You invade my inbox, have all this fancy detailed information about you and your match...so elite but you can't even spell correctly.

Yes , I can read your childish shorthand does not phase me.You went to school got your education etc so address properly....
Be true to yourself and everything will fall into place

FYI go through your profile again and again before you even attempt to message someone just because go through theirs throughly. Remember "your preference "Vs my preference.
Does that make any sense????????

P.s unless you want me to throw you with a dictionary /maybe a spelling test

Oof! I give up doh

Central & East European women.

In my opinion, the most attractive East European women are from Ukraine. They are beautiful in looks and with their accent and intelligence, are the complete package. They show great strength and resourcefulness in their determination for freedom, despite the extreme opposition they are subjected to by their violent and invasive neighbours.
They get 10 out of 10 from me.
thumbs up
Any ladies from Ukraine are welcome to comment on my CS site.

How and who will finish us all !

It is unlikely that the Russians as a whole would intentionally end life on Earth. The majority of people, including those in Russia, value human life and the preservation of our planet.

However, the actions of any nation, including Russia, can have significant impacts on global stability and the environment. For example, the proliferation of nuclear weapons and the potential for their use in conflict pose a threat to life on Earth. Climate change, caused by human activities including the emission of greenhouse gases, also poses a major threat to the future of life on our planet.

It is important for all nations to work together to address these global challenges and to promote peace, stability, and environmental protection. This can be achieved through international cooperation, diplomacy, and the responsible use of technology.

In short, the Russians, like all people, have the potential to make positive contributions to the world and to work towards preserving life on Earth, but it is also important to be mindful of the consequences of their actions.

LOVE & RESPECT

Love - an intense feeling of deep affection.
Love is an emotion of strong affection, tenderness, or devotion toward a subject or object. (psychcentral.com)
Respect - a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.
An attitude of, or behaviour demonstrating, esteem, honour, regard, concern, and other such positive qualities toward an individual or entity.(dictionary.apa.org)

Would it make sense to reaffirm your love for him after he accuses you of disrespecting him? In your mind you say, “How could I disrespect him, when I love him?” Doesn’t he know that I only want what’s best for him? The thing is, unless he’s your child, or you’re his court-appointed foster parent or guardian, or GOD, it’s disrespectful to decide that YOU know “what’s best” for him (a grown man).

For many people, they’d prefer to have Respect, rather than Love, from their date/significant other. Love could grow as time passed, but respect is needed from the get-go. It took me a while to agree with this perspective, because I had always believed that Love conquers all (and I still do, from a biblical point of view), so it would be enough. And that’s perhaps why I was saddened when I was accused of disrespecting him. But much later, when I had a similar experience, the ‘light of truth’ came on in my head.

Assuming that someone respects you just because they profess love for you is myopic, and this can happen due to one’s naivety or clouded judgement. Perhaps it was due to reading too many romance novels, watching too many rom-coms or listening to too many love stories told by the girls at high school. Perhaps all of the above.

Whichever… Love is an emotion, but must be demonstrated or else it carries no worth. Respect is an attitude that ascribes worth without any direct action, even though it too, requires some level of demonstration. With them both, any relationship would thrive and could be more easily repaired when things go wrong, than with only one of them.

Sadly, it IS possible to love someone but lack (or lose) respect for him/her. blueshmmm
