Millions of Americans Are Seething — a Trump Landslide Wouldn’t Surprise Me

Love him or hate him, Rush Limbaugh will get your attention. A lot of what he says should be paid attention to because he is usually correct.

RUSH: You’re never going to see that reflected in news media. But I’m gonna tell you what I think is happening out there. And I go up and down on this. I think it consistently, but some days I really, really think it. Other days, it’s kind of not as intense. I think that there is, across a vast expanse of this country, I think that there are millions and millions and millions of Americans who are quietly seething, quietly enraged over everything that has gone on here since Trump was inaugurated.

The Mueller investigation, the false, phony claims of collusion that amounted to nothing. The media’s acting like, “Nothing happened. Okay. So we failed.” They’re not even calculating the damage to their ongoing reputations and credibility. But it is blown to smithereens. And they keep building on that. They keep adding to. Here comes this phony baloney Kavanaugh thing where it is learned that an editor spiked the very bit of morsel evidence in the story that would have disqualified the story from running.

This stuff doesn’t happen in a vacuum. People are I think — well, I don’t want to put numbers on it. If Trump won 40 states, I don’t think I’d be surprised. I believe that America is still constituted by a majority of what I call normal people. I think they’re all outraged over this. They’re livid and they’re seething. But the media’s never gonna find ’em and the media’s never gonna report their attitudes. The media’s not looking for that.

In fact, the media doesn’t even think that exists. The media believes — because the media is just Democrats — the media believes that all of America hates Trump like they do. This is one of the most major miscalculations of a public mind-set that may be happening in the course of my having paid attention to things like this, say, in the last 50 years.

"I'm an Independent"

Says a lot of people who are too ashamed to say they are Democrats. It's a cop out. They are constantly spew in left wing ideology but refuse to admit they are actually Democrats. I guess they are trying to save what little face they have left. I feel sorry for real Independents for having to share their political beliefs with phony Democrats who are hiding behind their collective skirts.

Mix emotions

Last Tuesday was another day for me to get my unemployment card stamped. Just like last month, the counter staff, after handing me back my card told me to go to the 2nd floor meaning I have to browse and look for a job among the listings. The lady did her job so well that at the end of more than an hour of going thru all the listings she was able to finalize an interview for Friday. Yesterday I went to the company and met 2 other female Japanese applicants. Guess what? I'm taken in although for the first month I'll be in the day shift before transferring to the night shift. The place is quite near my apt. I believe I can handle the job well since we were toured in the factory after the interview. But just sad that the timing wasn't right. I'm booked for Manila this week and has a return flight on Sept 2. At first I was asked when can I start working with them. I told them September but when the other 2 ladies answer they're willing to start on Aug 19, (Today until Aug 18 is Japan's obon holiday)I was pressured to say so, too. Really happy for I won't have to milch the Jgovt and sad for not being able to make my travel plan. I could have made my travel earlier!sigh

Why YOU may not accepted in society

You Complain A Lot
You’re Selfish
You Don’t Care About Your Friends
You Stir Up Drama
You Get Jealous
You Gossip
You Bully Your Friends
You try too hard. And it shows
You’re too negative.
You’re a selfish person.
You read between the lines.
You whine all the time
You’re a boring conversationalist.
You drain your friend’s energy
You’re right. You always are
You’re insecure and jealous
You’re an introvert

Or maybe you are just plain stupid.

Trump Isn’t Impeached Until the House Tells the Senate

According to the Constitution, impeachment is a process, not a vote.

Now that the House of Representatives has voted to impeach President Donald Trump, what is the constitutional status of the two articles of impeachment? Must they be transmitted to the Senate to trigger a trial, or could they be held back by the House until the Senate decides what the trial will look like, as Speaker Nancy Pelosi has hinted?

The Constitution doesn’t say how fast the articles must go to the Senate. Some modest delay is not inconsistent with the Constitution, or how both chambers usually work.

But an indefinite delay would pose a serious problem. Impeachment as contemplated by the Constitution does not consist merely of the vote by the House, but of the process of sending the articles to the Senate for trial. Both parts are necessary to make an impeachment under the Constitution: The House must actually send the articles and send managers to the Senate to prosecute the impeachment. And the Senate must actually hold a trial.

If the House does not communicate its impeachment to the Senate, it hasn’t actually impeached the president. If the articles are not transmitted, Trump could legitimately say that he wasn’t truly impeached at all.

That’s because “impeachment” under the Constitution means the House sending its approved articles of to the Senate, with House managers standing up in the Senate and saying the president is impeached.

As for the headlines we saw after the House vote saying, “TRUMP IMPEACHED,” those are a media shorthand, not a technically correct legal statement. So far, the House has voted to impeach (future tense) Trump. He isn’t impeached (past tense) until the articles go to the Senate and the House members deliver the message.

Twas the night before Christmas........

Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the house
There were empties and butts
Left around by some louse.

And the best quart I'd hid
By the chimney with care
Had been swiped by some creep
Who'd discovered it there!

Our hung-over guests
Had been poured into bed
(They'll wake in the morn
With a God-awful head)

My tongue, cotton-coated,
Hung down to my belt
And only the seasick
Could know how I felt!

Just then, through a window
Came noise and smells
Like an overturned beer truck
And tinkle of bells!

I sprang from my chair
To see what was the matter
To see what was causing
The smell and the clatter.

When what to my wondering
Eyes did appear
But eight drunken reindeer
And sled full of beer!

With a little old driver,
Nose red as a brick,
I knew it was Santa
As tight as a tick!

Weaving upward and downward
His reindeer they came
While he hiccoughed and burped
And called them by name:

"On Gallo! On Ripple!
We ain't got all night!
You, too, Manischewitz!
And you, Miller lite!

So up to my roof
Went his reindeer and sled
But my TV antenna
Hit him right in the head!

And then in a twinkling
I heard Santa swear
So hot that it melted
The snow everywhere!

I could tell in a moment
This guy had no class
For he fell down my chimney
Right smack on his a**!

He was dressed all in fur
From his head to his toes.
Red were his eyeballs,
His coat and his nose.

He had a round face
And toy-filled sack
His breath would have blown
A freight off the track!

He was chubby and plump
And he tried to stand right
But he couldn't fool me -
He was high as a kite!

He spoke not a word
But went straight to his work
And missed half the stockings,
The plastered old jerk!

Then putting five fingers
To the tip of his nose
He gave me the bird
As up the chimney he rose.

Crossing my rooftop
He went at a run
Not seeing what one
Of his reindeer had done.

He skidded, and then
Fell flat on his face!
His remarks after this
Were a total disgrace!

Then he got in his sled
And I heard Santa moan:
"Why did I stop there?
Bud's kids are all grown!"

‘Impeachment Fiasco’ Is Good for 2020 Election

Candace Owens, who founded Blexit, says the “impeachment fiasco” is good for President Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign.

More and more moderate Democrats are waking up to the fact their party stands for “damaging America as a whole,” she told Breitbart News.

“I see the silver lining in that, I think it’s great for Trump,” said Owens.

Owens spoke to thousands of young conservatives at Turning Point USA’s fifth annual Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida.

She said, “I think that it’s going to definitely give him a lot of energy when he’s at rallies.”

“We’re going to hear it over and over again — the impeachment fiasco,” Owens added.

“Not from the left, we’re going to hear it from Trump himself, because it’s great for him, it really shows how little they care for the American constitution, how little they care about the American people, and just how deeply hateful they have become.”

“They have effectively gotten nothing accomplished in the three years that he’s been in office, and they’re just purely focused on hating him and trying to destroy the fabric of America in the process.”

“I think it’s going to help him, and that’s going to lead to a landslide.”

“Because as I’m seeing, more moderate Democrats are waking up to the fact that they really don’t recognize their own party — it’s not for freedom, it’s for damaging America as a whole.”
