Backfires

Its commonly perceived by almost all journalists that it (AAP) would further add to the erosion of the Congress and help the bjp.
But I hold that its not that way. My logic is simple. If one carefully analyse the situation, an entirely different picture emerges.
Actually congress has its effect in the rural areas where AAP has hardly any say. AAP has its appeal among the urban population.
And so it can be concluded that AAP would damage the prospects of bjp than that of the Congress.
Well, let's wait and watch.

A friend sent me a text that she was furious over a list of American companies (still) doing business in Russia while others have ceased since it's strike on Ukraine.

I haven't had time to research this and wonder what impact it really has that Papa John's continues to do business there. I don't buy their pizzas, so there isn't a need to boycott them.
Actually, they are on my list of 'worst pizza in the world' so maybe it's good they continue to do business in Russia.

What to do if you want to contribute to fight against Putin's propaganda:

I understand the European football final is going to be moved from Saint Petersburg because of the Russian invasion. The formula one race is under consideration also.
Would these measures be supported by most people and should politics be used when there are disagreements with the actions of countries.
You could argue about winter Olympics in Beijing allowed to proceed in view of China's action against certain religious groups. But this was allowed to proceed.
Who decides? Maybe there should be an agreed policy on what constitutes a country ban on events in the world.

It's a slow crash-and-burn to the end. It's not going to be pretty, baby.

Leave it to Biden to nominate a man who hates America, celebrates people who kill cops, oh yeah, and who also hates Jews to be a federal judge. By now, this administration should have figured out that nominating people based on which woke boxes they check off is a mistake. But they have not because you know, they're Democrats.
