The craziest thing or what?

I was talking with a friend of mine tonight. During the conversation, he brought something to my attention. I have never heard about this before so I had to check for myself on youtube. To my surprise, there were loads of videos with some pretty darn compelling evidence. Even Joan Rivers was recorded as stating it. Are you ready for this? Is Michelle Obama really a man?

Me personally, I laughed my butt off in disbelief when he first told me that. I thought he lost a few cards from his deck. But, after checking things out....well....let's just say some people put together some interesting things.

Time for me to hopefully get some sleep.

DID YOU EVER HEARD THE NAME BOKO HARAM?

Nigeria long before never had this type of terrorist hate group.Until Nigeria became the 20th richest country in the world! New big cities are being built that rivals western standard.

When we see the atrocities caused by BOKO HARAM terrorist group, we see the amount of money they have, we see the type of military weapon they possess, and when Africa calls for help to fight this deadly terrorist, America says no, Europe says no.

Well, there is this researcher in the USA well known and an insider to CIA operatives, that said a few months back, that the BOKO HARAM terrorist group is created and being financed and sponsored by the west to destabilise the development of Africa. He is a white man and a US citizen.!

you worry me

PLEASE READ AND CONTRIBUTE ON HOW YOU FEEL. IT WAS SENT TO ME BY A FRIEND AND I FIND IT VERY INTERESTING IF NOT THOUGHT PROVOKING.

A newspaper stated that some Muslim doctor is saying we are profiling him because he has been checked three times while getting on an airplane. The following is a letter from a pilot. This well- spoken man, who is a pilot with American Airlines, says what is in his heart, beautifully. This pilot hit the nail right on the head in his open letter. No name calling, no hatred, no political agenda.

YOU WORRY ME!

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings, killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage, hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists. But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim Americans and the Arab/Muslim terrorists in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter MORE of the same good neighbors and children?

The events of September 11 changed the answer.. It is not MY responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.

I want to know, I DEMAND to know and I have a right to know, whether or not you love America ..... Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation; that He will protect it and let it prosper? Or do you pray that Allah will destroy it in one of your Jihads? Are you thankful for the freedom that this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by also paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America?? If this is your commitment, then I need YOU to start letting ME know about it

WAR IS WAGED ON FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

Across Europe, especially in France, politicians have decided to wage war on freedom of expression. An eight year old was questioned by the French police, apparently for praising terrorists.Humorists have been questioned and fined because of the nature of their humor.

Projects are currently going on to limit freedom of expression even in the United States. So where are we heading to?

How far are you willing to give up your freedom? By the way, how will restriction on freedom solve political, religious and world problems?

Hypocrisy or security? OR Are we moving towards North Korea way of freedom of expression? Then why do we criticise the North?

driving is a privilege

Well I was in court yesterday ready and armed with all the facts that I should have not been singled out to be cited for speeding and failure to turn my signal when lane changing.
(Being lunch time and freeway was empty, everyone was speeding over the speed limit but I passed a semi just to stay away from him as he was doing 80 on a 70).

So I said to myself: "I'm expert on this, I will show up with my professional and respectful demeanor and tell the judge and as usual get dismissed. But that's in California, my residence of 35 years. This time it's my first ticket in the Mid West and of course it's going to be the same.

Well not. Procedures are different but just the same, they just want your money and holy mackerel at least in Cali, you'll get the honor to be heard and state your case. Here you don't get to do all that, they just declare you have to pay and the amount is higher because you're ticketed for two. I said: "Where's the judge and the accuser?" ( officer who pulled me over)

The clerk said: "They're not here and we're making it easier for you". I said: No you're not making it easier for me, I demand the right to be heard and no, first of all I don't want to go to record or my insurance will be exorbitant. After negotiation, he finally realized I am bent to prove my innocence and be dismissed, he dismissed the case, not going to court and stand face to face with the highway patrol in front of a judge.

I said to myself, hmmmnn, a lot easier than in California where you have to sit in court for whole day listening to silly and inane stories trying to make the fine reduced.

But the truth is: This is not really enforcing the law, making the roads safe rather IT IS AN ENORMOUS AND PROFITABLE REVENUE GENERATING TOOL for the nation.

In my driving style (no accident) being a fast driver I'm sure I've paid a fortune to my state. And as soon as my daughter learned about it she said: "Some things don't change, just be careful mom, the snow is treacherous", and I said: "I will, honey".

But as they say it's a privilege, and so be it.

Please read below, copied from Google.

What do speed traps, parking tickets, toll roads, speed cameras and red light cameras all have in common? They are all major revenue sources for state and local governments. All over America today there are state and local governments that are drowning in debt. Many have chosen to use “traffic enforcement” as a way to raise desperately needed revenue. According to the National Motorist Association, issuing speeding tickets raises somewhere between 4.5 billion and 6 billion dollars in the United States each year. And the average price of a speeding ticket just keeps going up.

National Prayer's Breakfast Speech

Even I was convinced with the sincerity of the US president Obama on his speech at the National Prayer Breakfast meeting today.

He said in a very solemn voice: "GOD DOES NOT SUPPORT TERRORIST."

"WE SHOULD SEEK TO BE AN INSTRUMENT FOR PEACE".

"NO ONE SHOULD INSULT ANY RELIGION".

"OUR NATION DOESN'T SPONSOR NOR ENDORSE ANY RELIGION OR FAITH BECAUSE WE ARE GRANTED THE FREEDOM TO PRACTICE ANY KIND BUT MUST BE RESPECTFUL TO ALL."

The most that connected to my heart is when he said: WE SHOULD PRACTICE THE GOLDEN RULE.

Wouldn't it be great if all people in the world follow and practice the same thing?

Question is? Why can't we?

Anyways, I was also touched by his emphasis on the reasons why the founders of our nation included God in their Declaration of Independence and it is primarily with the fact that they believed in God.

I do.

NOTE: My question is, is he sincere? I doubt.

AMERICAN SNIPER

We all know movies are movies. Sometimes they make us feel good, sometimes bad and sometimes we can learn a lot from them, fiction or not. This particular movie, which is based from the life of Chris Kyle, a Texan who became a member of the Navy Seal after the bombing of the Twin Towers in September 11, 2001, not only did give me all the feelings of happiness, sadness but also made me understand our position why we are out there in foreign land with a mission that is both gripping and crucial to our survival.

He felt compelled to do something for his country. He dedicated all his strength and hope to make our country a safer place.

As a boy because he was small he was always picked on by the bullies but with his father's permission to fight back when it is needed, he became committed to help the underdogs which is the core of his principles.

This movie made me understand how justification of killing is based on who you are fighting for. Based on whom you believe to be right and stand by with that right. I felt that in believing that the attack on our land by the so called terrorist, he went on to fight them where they are knowing that our country is safer that way. It is evident when he said: "WOULD YOU WANT ALL THESE PEOPLE TO COME TO OUR COUNTRY AND KILL US?

Anyways, contrary to what most think that "one's freedom fighter can be someone else's hero", on this movie or on his life story, we know who the bad guys are. We know they are out to kill us, but instead of that to happen, we go out there and kill them. With a carefully planned strategy and orchestrated effort, they (US FORCE) carefully identify who they are and accomplish their mission.

What touched me most is that these people, (soldiers) are not just killing machine. They do have heart and conscience. They raise family and has love ones. They know the dreadful feeling of losing a fellowman. But yet, to them, their mission is to protect our country and to remain loyal to what we believe in.

This is a man who believed that with all his killings, he did a great service to his fellow citizens, knowing that he killed all the bad guys which earned him the name "LEGEND".

NOTE: My take is that: I believe there are bad guys. Their mission is to kill us. I will never hesitate to participate in that killing if it makes this world a better place. If I were young, I would enlist right now, get trained and be one of these people who sacrifice d all they've got.

Thank you all for your reads and comments.

Too Much For Coincidence?

This story has been recounted many times but it is so unusual that it is worth looking at it again. It relates to the unusual high number of coincidences that occurred when US Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy were assassinated.professor

Abraham Lincoln was elected in 1860, one hundred years before JFK who was elected in 1960. Lincoln was succeeded by Andrew Johnson and JFK was succeeded by Lyndon Johnson, both Southerners. What makes it even more remarkable is that the two Johnsons were born in 1808 and 1908; one hundred years apart. To add spice to it, the assassins were also born one hundred years apart. Booth was born in 1839 and Oswald in 1939. And both died before going to trial.wow

They were both shot. Lincoln stopped his bullet in a theater and Booth was trapped in a warehouse. The Kennedy bullet came from a warehouse and Oswald was cornered in a theater. Lincoln was shot in Ford’s theater and Kennedy met his end in a Ford Lincoln.shock

To top it off, Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy while Evelyn Lincoln was the secretary of JFK.hmmm

Is it too much for coincidence? Mathematicians say no. They claim that if you look hard enough, you will find such coincidences between any two events.doh

Well, now you also know why mathematicians are not that popular at parties; they can kill any mystery and generally make poor conversation.laugh

turning the other cheek

Embedded image from another site

I know this is a very saturated and over exposed discussion about the Charlie Hebdo case but this is a very interesting point of view.

I read the front page of the Pioneer Newspaper published last Sunday and it was a remarkable analysis on how Joe Soucheray the columnist, who likened his story on his experience with one of the rock and roll magazine.

In the Christian world, I remember being taught that if someone slaps you in the face, you should turn the other cheek for more slapping? I kind of said: REALLY????? Now of course, I know sometime, we can't always do that..It is in our human instinct to fight back. To retaliate, to protect ourselves. But yes, if only we can all be like Jesus, then there would be no more war. You think?

Anyway the gist of the story is that sure, no one deserves to die, specially for the practice of free speech and it shouldn't be, after all this is one of our prime provision accorded to be free.

The thing to me is, there is nothing that can trigger any of this, knowing very well that these people kill with or without reason.

TERRORIST- are here to agonize us, torrorize us with or without reason. We already know that. Why wait for some cause or reason to justify declaring war against them? Why don't we commit ourselves on identifying who they are, where they are and expunge them?

AFTER ALL IT'S EITHER THEM OR US, RIGHT? I

NOTE:I feel the sensitivity of the Paris fiasco has gone so deep on our minds. But more so on our emotions. Touching very deeply our core of religious beliefs, and somehow even our cultural ways of life. It is played out both ways where there is not an easy answer nor there is any clear solution on the matter.

First of all it is complicated on the fact that from all sides it has been dispersed into associating it with old religious institutions. Second, it has become over toned on political implications due to the SO CALLED FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION, and lastly, now here we are asking ourselves, who is our enemy?

Thanks all for your read and comments.
