...who really thought that 'do as I say, not as I do', Canadian (eh?) PM Trudeau would be the last pol or government hack to have such a disgraceful and hypocritical history finally uncovered? Not the VIERK, oh you clever CS blogers. Seems as though they are falling from the sky now like rain, and I am looking for a few Conservatives in this distinguished club of (?once upon a time) racists, but they seem rare, Of course, Jim Crow and the Klan were almost exlusively democrat affairs, so just imagine all that. Yet, the lefties have words like "racist" as an integral part of their vocabulary. Don't take my word for it, just listen and read. When I was in the Big Easy, there was a "Hotel Notell" on airline highway, on the way to the Airport. The kind you rent rooms by the hour, and with the two bit coin op v***rator heart shaped beds, in every room, we're told. Ceiling full mirrors in a few rooms for a little extra. More than one democrat Blow hard Pompador topped, cheap suit preacher was caught there, sometimes by TV camera press, with bimbo, or young lad in tow. The same clowns who waxed virtuous on marrital fidelity, and the evils of queers. Yep. Blackface. You can't make this stuff up.

What most people outside of Kentucky don't realize is that Republicans swept all the state offices except for governorship. For the for time in 26 years, a Republican won Attorney General in Kentucky. A black conservative Republican beat a career politician, a political democrat hack.

What most outside the state also don't realize is that a third party candidate (a libertarian) was involved in the governors race. This libertarian took almost 28,500 of the vote. Most of these nearly 28,500 votes were siphoned from the Republican (Bevin). That's why the democrat won by a little over 5000 votes. (0.4%) I'm sure a recount will be held, but I hear Bevin will have to pay for this recount.

Another little known fact was this Republican wasn't well liked by most people, and only had an approval rating of around 32%. If anything, Trump's rally helped him gain support the night before the election, but not enough to overcome it.

That's the full story, something liberals almost always leave out!

Btw, speaking of Virginia, wasn't Virginia already blue for the most part? Now they have it all. No great lose there!

Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, graciously permitted being a guest in New York City this past Thursday on The Late Show almost immediately after her work was done with the vote in the House of Representatives stetting forth the rules of the impeachment inquiry.

In an effort to undermines her passion for the truth, over the many years, I've witnessed Republicans frequently lie, mischaraterize, and demonize the lady.
However, here is an opportunity to witness her, as being pressed by Colbert's often funny, yet revealing questions, and to better understand her and also why the impeachment inquiry is absolutely necessary.

It was kind of expected, but will it backfire? Most voters, fair minded, cannot be happy with Schiff's Soviet-style secret hearings (whereby he kept testimony under lock and key but made sure to leak sure anything and everything that might align with his agenda to eager members of the media). This vote also sets out the rules going forward, whereby the accused (Donald Trump) will be denied fundamental rights of defense that were afforded to Bill Clinton and others in previous impeachment inquiries.

So chip in folks, how do you feel? Are you happy with how things have proceeded until now and how Pelosi, Schiff and co propose to carry out proceedings going forward?

I only ever voted once. That was for Margaret Thatcher, and she got in. That's a 100% success rate, when you think about it. I don't know if I will vote in the upcoming election; my uncanny ability to influence the outcome puts a heavy responsibility on my shoulders. I might put the Liberal Democrats in. Apart from it being fun to see the amazed look on their faces, it would be interesting to see what sort of job they would make of running a country. Or I might go for Labour. A proper socialist government could be just what we need right now. I need to have a proper old think about this.

Speaker Pelosi is playing word games, trying to pull a fast one on the Republicans, the American people, and the Constitution by appearing to “authorize” a formal impeachment inquiry, while not actually passing an impeachment resolution that would trigger rights for Republican House members to call witnesses and issue subpoenas.

That is why, when ambushed by NBC News, she was careful to make a distinction and say “It is not an impeachment resolution.” It was a walk-by comment:


Speaker Pelosi is holding a vote, a resolution, to affirm her previous declaration of a House “inquiry”…. Pelosi is not delivering a House “Resolution on Impeachment” for a vote, because if she did hold a vote on an impeachment resolution, the minority and the Executive branch would gain rights therein.

Note that the final wording of the resolution is not yet available, and Sundance believes that the Lawfare Group, based at the tax-exempt Brookings Institution, is carefully wording the exact measure to be up for a vote on Thursday.

The rules for an “impeachment investigation” would provide rights for the minority and also rights for the Executive branch.

So instead of having a House vote to authorize an impeachment investigation, with subsequent rights for the minority; they are having a House vote to affirm the “impeachment inquiry” with an entirely different set of House rules that do not include rights for the minority.

Nice trick huh?

The question becomes: Why is Pelosi calling a vote now? Some analysts, such as law professor Ann Althouse, believe that Pelosi may want to end the impeachment campaign, and hopes for enough no votes from members elected in districts that voted for Trump that she can all off the quest and avoid further damage.

Too many times it's been formed laws to protect and serve as yrs ago with the medical sector as they plead from high cost of medical insurance now it's nearly impossible to sue only under certain criteria of laws wrote and now too many playing God.

When a wolf is suspected stealing chicken by the neighboring goat, the goat should be drilled on the nail chamber to investigate how and when the goat got that rumor and the method of overhearing the rumor is legitimate or not becomes the critical matter, instead of investigating whether any chicken is missing or not initially.

American democracy and justice principle is too complicated for us to understand, and I still can’t grasp overall picture of the political battle field to tell who is right or wrong. This incapability of comprehending American principle causes my inferior complex sometime, but I had no difficulty to understand how the Google’s new quantum processor works on the news. I must not be that dumb.

Vierk shamelesss name dropping. But here goes. Today, into this little mid coastal Maine town, arriving this afternoon, on a barge, was this historic yacht. For some reason a local wooden boat Builder (French and Webb) was chosen to refit the boat over the next 4 years. Much of the town turned out---choirs, brass bands, etc. We were told Jimmy Carter, a former privar owner, was to visit as well. He could have visited with our new ueber liberal lady governor, and given her a few pointers. How to finesse both double digit unemploymet and inflation. Awesome.
