Looks matter to me alot! If it didn't matter, there would be a lot of weird looking couples all over the world. The only people i can say that looks don't matter to. Are the girls/women-boy/man that are running after rich guys/girls that are butt ugly, the women/man only want there money.

Very few ppl (if any) dispute that personality is more important.
The OP question was 'Do looks matter?'.
Can you honestly say that looks do not matter to you? Keep in mind that 'looks' are subjective.
I for one strongly believe that looks do reflect personality, hence I don't have this problem - choosing looks over personality or vise versa.

If this is jacked up, feel free to say so LOL~ But I have to try to imagine myself kissing someone (yes, after having seen the way they look) and if I can't imagine it, then it just can't be for me. Is that shallow? Because I can't imagine myself kissing just anyone either.. for instance.. I totally can't imagine kissing Brad Pitt~ eww.. I will tell you my experience on POF regarding "looks".
I recently created a profile there because they are very few women who actually log on to this site from Ottawa area.
I posted my pic of the Sydney bridge in background. A woman that I sent a message to said that she refused to communicate with someone who did not have several pictures and preferably close ups because she had been played in the past.
I was also supposed to go on a date with another woman who asked me to post close up pictures so she knew who she was going to be meeting the next day. Well I received a message from her saying that she was ill and that perhaps we could make it for the following weekend. Never heard from her again. Also those who were communicating with me either stopped or gave a sugar coated excuse for not thinking us to be compatible.
Yes, we are visual creatures whether I like it, I do it....or not.

Yes we are, both men and women are. But you're not seriously suggesting that personality somehow forges one's looks to match it? Like, I have a dogged personality so I resemble a Saint Bernard or pitt bull?
