At one time I mixed with some Italian families, and it was fascinating! The men come home from work to eat and talk to their children, then they return to the town to sleep with the mistress, and the wives behave like everything is normal... "He go to dreenk Espresso wid hees frends, den he is tired and he sleep in da apartmento in da town - why he haf to trevel all da way back to da villa?..and tomorrow he go stret to da voork"And then I watched them playing cards .. Oh mama mia! .. the cheating! and the tears and drama when they lose!

Smoky, gotta tell you this one....years and years ago, I was doing a Botswana trip with an old school buddy. We were 2 hours outside of Gaberone heading towards the Makgadigadi in our 4WD, and we come to the first fence. There was a gate and an old corrugated iron shed. This was a disinfection station to control the spread of foot and mouth disease carried by the tsetse fly between the wild areas, and the cattle country. These two old african gents, dressed in well-worn khakis and pith helmets, motion us into the shed, whereupon they closed the doors, and proceeded to walk around our vehicle spraying with those old Pyagra tube-and-can sprayers....they would say "One-Two...One -Two" in their delightful accents as they walked around spraying the vehicle from all sides...on inspection later, I looked at their spray-cans....they were all totally rusted, obviously many many years old, and the last drop of insecticide had gone many years ago....These old gents obviously thought that the ritual of spraying was the muti that did the magic work...not the insecticide....!!!!....never forgot that...

96.765% of approx 50% of the maltese popultion is 100% male. A percentage of those are here on CS (no need to thank us ladies). I don't know how that is for the statistics you require but you have some numbers now and they make as much sense as good government statistics so they must really mean something.
