mindfful: when you are real involved its a great safe place from the vulnerability of social situations
when you have responsibility to those activities its safe busy is safe
weird im having trouble articulating this
anyway im a social creature now just tied in knots as a kid
Now that's good news!
I was always running about with one crowd or another, I should've done more scholastic. Aw well. I made up for that in college where people are supposed to let loose. I ended up with honours, and a very lonely 3 years. LOL
Congrates to you though, it's so nice to see happy people.
Raven0: Were you a Jock, or a Nerd, how about a Preppy kid or maybe you were a punker, or even a stoner. Who were you in high-school?
For me high school was the late 60s in Texas. I was one of the first longhairs at my school. Actually my hair barely touched my ears and my shirt collar but that was considered LONG in those days, long enough to cause trouble if the assistant principal caught me.
I was an antiwar activist and got into a considerable amount of trouble with authorities (school, city, and military) for that.
In my junior and senior years, I had a music group that played every weekend and financed my various distractions.
Joker5911: James Dean type here. Rode a Harley to school with cigs tucked in my shirt sleeve. Done a burnout down the front sidewalk at the high school with my 55 Chevy just to name a few Man life was good.
I had a 55 Chevy too. Metallic light brown. 283 with a 4-barrel holly carb and Crower quarter-grind cam. 4 speed transmission. laid scratch in all 4 gears.
But my "hippy musician" side kept me out of the James Dean hot-rod crowd.
I was pretty much homeless and stayed with freinds, but I was a long haired kid straight out of the 70's ,and boy did I think I was cool, pretty much like folks here ......
i was crazy, pulling pranks on everyone, puting exlax in teachers coffee, riding my bike around in schools.tossing paper airplanes out the window,i spent more time in the dean's office than i did in class, but some how he hurt his arm
a little emotional, cried a lot doing my homework, I was physically strong, had diverse friends, a little bit of a fashion rebel, very responsible, good student, boy crazy, had major crushes on older men
Aug 9, 2009 2:03 AM CST What kind of person were you in high-school?

I was a loner type, slept through most of highschool. But I turned out ok in a sense. Moved around alot as a kid from school-school so I never really made friends nor really took the time to do so. That being said, I think I turned out normal in a sense.

But, I dunno. I'd think someone involved with so much would have had a few followers?
No, It did not always work that way. Popular, Yes. Nerdy, No.
