dreamer let us pray
lord we come before you united under your promise that all who call on you will be heard
lord we know not why-we know what hurts and we know what is wrong but help us to do rather than know
to love and pause and comfort
help us to be appropriate so that the focus not be off the wrongdoer and on us
father there is so much pain but we know in the end at some turn it will be of great comfort to another in the telling and for this i am grateful
please help us to wrangle our wrath, give it to you and strike out to use our hands to comfort those hurt in such assaults
help us to be your hands and feet in the face of hate and hurt for of our own we can do naught
peace and comfort thank you lord

So sorry to hear this. Prayers for your girlfriend and her sister, plus the brother in law. I hope she stays safe after this...gets protection from the ex, as this is extremely serious.

Dreamer82: Just talked to my girl's sister again. She was the victim of another more brutal attack. Her ex broke into her house knocked out her brother-in-law who tried to protect her. Then, broke into my girl's room took a knife away from her sister.
After that, turned on my girl. pulled her off the bed and beat her. He also used the knife on her. She was cut, and stabbed. She is alive in ICU. The say she is strong, and they expect her to survive.

Thanks for all the prayers, and well wishes so far everybody. This has been really difficult for me, not being there. I keep going through all the possible scenarios. What I would've done to protect her had I been there. I really wish there was more I could do, aside from posting a thread like this.

My prayers go out to you and your entire family. That ex is a very dangerous demented individual. All your lives are in danger with this type of a person on the loose. Hopefully, the police have rounded him up and he is sitting in jail right now.
