inner beauty or physical beauty (52)
there is an expression: beauty outside in danger inside, well, it is not always the case but to some extend is does happen. you can not judge straight away by looking at a person at first sight. it takes time to know an individual in any relationship.
However, i'd rather go for beauty inside 75% than 25 for outside.

I think it is a combination of three things.
1. You find someone that you don't know, to be physically attractive, and then pursue it (human nature).
2. You get to know that attractive person, and realize they don't possess the beauty from within.
3. You get to know someone, who it not necessarily someone that your would initially find physically attractive, but get to know their beauty, and feel both.
I have a friend, and his wife is not attractive. However, once you get to know her, her beauty shines from within, and she is one of the most attractive people that I know.

I agree....first of all you see somebody and are attracted to them in a Physical way...then...
the most important part comes from within this certain person.

for me individually it's the inner beauty that counts most.But yes most of us look at a person's physical appearance.but that physical beauty will only please your eyes...nothing more.
Inner beauty will please your heart and soul..
finding that in a person will make u fall in love because not everyone possess that inner beauty..but it's the most beautiful and amazing part of our being,look for that and you will never go wrong..

My last girlfriend was georgous. I loved being with her physically. But over time I began to see who she was inside and it was not pretty. Eventually I broke up with her because, dispite the outer beauty, I choose not to live with someone so selfish.
If I had to choose I'd pick inner beauty. The problem is, we have needs other than spiritual. I love being with a woman but have to be psysically attracted to her. It seems to me that's the balance we all strive for... someone you cant wait to make love to while loving them for who they really are as a person. IMHO

Physical attraction fades as we get older. I want a person I still look forward to sitting and talking with 30 years from now...not one I only loved for looks. I've grown as a person, and I now need someone who can walk beside the person I've become...and they're not going to be easy to find since I can no longer find that person in a bar.
I think most of us are more into physical attraction in our youth when we're looking for a mate to have children with, and are more physically oriented. As we get older, our needs change and we learn that there's much more to living with a person than being attracted to their outside. We live and learn.

im with you darl, i think u said it better than i could of. if i see someone doing nice things then yes i still need a level of attraction there...but it can be lower cos i will have already witnessed whats inside and that means more.
