I seriously doubt you are the awful people of your past, have you done the things those people have done to you. If not then you are not like them, and you are not them.If you have then you have a much longer path than I thought.
So long as you hold onto what all they have done to you, then They win, They get to keep hurting you. Why are you letting them keep hurting you. You are giving them the power over you. You aren't truely living your life, you are letting them have it, by letting them keep hurting you.

Nah, I wouldn't hurt a fly, well yeah I would cause I don't like bugs. But it's my nature to be good to people. It comes very easily for me.
I know EVERYONE is right in what they suggest. I know it.
It makes sense that as long as I acknowledge all those things that people have done to me, those people still have power over me.
The way to release that power is to focus on something more powerful. Like Thermite at the world trade center buildings. I'm saying that as an example because when I was in that thread I didn't think about anyone but what Ambrose and Robbie, and a few others were saying. When I think about other things that I feel sure about, I don't focus on the problems. I know they re still there but I am able to file them in a folder for later.

You didn't fail, you had a setback. Anybody battling anything will have setbacks from time to time. Regroup and carry on. You've done it before and you can do it again. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know.

Good way of looking at it as a setback but I know it's more than that. But I'll work it out....I always do.

And remember you even said Love is powerful. So it also goes for loving ourselves. If you give it a chance that is. To love and appreciate yourself. To be able to really love another We Have to love Our selves first, so you can learn this. You are a bright lovely woman, You just need to be her.
Think of one other thing. You may have still have a little weight left to get rid of for yourself. But I bet you look more beautiful and youthful than they other people your age. I could only hope to look half as good as you if I reach your age.

I am tired of trying to beat the anguish. And I'll tell you one more thing, the people who took all the time today to listen, read, post, offer suggestions are the ones to be commended. You all came forward to help a stranger pull herself out of the pile of crap that she has dealt with all her life. It shows how good the people on CS are when a stranger is in need of help.
