Anyone got any good business ideas? ( Archived) (27)

Jul 19, 2006 6:40 AM CST Anyone got any good business ideas?
It has been a dream of mine to someday own my own business. Problem is I am out of ideas. What I am looking for is a very low or no cost idea that could be done over the internet or something. Anyone got any ideas?

You ever see the white letters on the window of a Ford truck that read "Super Duty"?

How about white letter decals that read "Super Doodie"?

I bet those would sell.

Look into free classifieds and drop shipping. There are many good drop shippers. Start with free classifieds then work up to auction sites. Then go from there to a online store.

Good idea ... how about self defence classes.
Ladies and kids stuff. Nothing too desperate, just safety stuff.

I did a lot of Judo when I was a kid, and it was all down to my brother-in-law. He used to run free self defence classes once a week for the single parents, and that brought in business for his judo dojo.

Kids love that sort of stuff. Roughin and tumbling around, and learning respect at the same time.

Nice one Daniel ... good thinking ...

You could "borrow" the local village hall in return for free classes, and then you give a % of your takings to the hall when you have paying customers. then when you get a few more .. fix a rate.

I reckon that could work.

I gave the Martial Arts Lessons idea a thought. However, after having been locked up like I was, for as long as I was, the State revoked my instructors license. Another price I paid. Good idea tho.

Write a book on your experiences and views on what you have been through, you have kept CS attention, why not try to inspire many with your words?
Integrate the martial art into your life experiences and effects on your life in general.

The state took your license to be an instructor, but they cannot stop you from writing about it.

I wish you the best....

Some people make a living buying and selling on E.Bay!

Maybe that could help sustain you while you write your blockbuster!

Then you could sell the film rights!
