southmiami: On this thread I just read through, pretty good opinions to share.
I just finished a relationship and now I'm just letting time come to pass.
I've seen people trying to improve themselves which I applaud greatly.
Others that are laid-back and if it comes, it comes.
People overcoming a break-up, still bitter and angry.
I believe you should never give up there is always someone that can make you happy.
I'm focused now in getting my life together and moving forward .
I have enjoyed CS and thought at some point to get off for a while but then realized
it is a good place to connect with others.
You can never predict when that person is coming into your life, I had been alone for
quite a while and tried but did not work.
I'm inviting here everyone to be positive, I was just scrolling through the pictures how
many faces are out there looking.
Make that first move to initiate,( he or she) so many surprises can come into your life.!!

Personally I cant be arsed any more as I seem to always want the one's who dont want me and the ones who want me I dont want Yeah I know .But Im optimistic .I have faith Il one day make the right moves on the right man .So ,I s'pose Die trying is my answer (yeah ,babbled a bit )

avecaim: I just read this and wanted to let you know how humbled and inspired I am hearing your experience. If you can do Cold Turkey after 35 years then I can quit after 10! I would love to know some of your other strategies. As for not finding love for so long, I am perplexed. You are a brave and soulful man. I believe it WILL happen for you. Yes , but no drinking for me, We had a local Band ( Our Mortician) Ha true tho, It was a 5 yr class reuinion in a large Building , Live band and about a hundred people....
I used to party with all these people, but now , I go and drink Pepsi, tho e danced and had a good time, just a bunch of locals, that I know, nice to see you. Larry
