Why do stem cell research when we have skin cell technology soon enough.
Nice of him to place one REP on the Cabinet. Is common practice in most Administrations to do so.

production 40,000 per year and sell them for $40k each.
Alternative energy. See the pump price going down? If his alternative energy program is effective....then you will see a drop in gas prices.

ttom500, don't forget credit card reform, Obama gave them enough lead time to raise interest rates and create even move predatory practices before the bill kicked in, even let them help write the new rules, all which were supposed to be prevented under the failure-in-chiefs reform.

This does not mean that federal funds may now go to unlimited research on human embryos. Federal law still bans federal funding for research in which scientists destroy human embryos. Why not do both kinds of research?

I can tell that you were never in the military or gave an oath to uphold the constitution of the United States and protect her from ALL enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC.
I retired from the Marine Corps after 31 years in November 2008 and it sickens me to see that there are people who actually support this so called president destroying this country and making a mockery of every man and woman who shed their blood defending their country. If you're looking for a hand out, there are many other countries willing to do so.

First off, I'm an independent and support whatever keeps our country safe. I could care less about politics but unfortunately our country is run by career politicians and not regular American citizens.
And don't you dare talk to me about an unjust war and innocent men women and children. I spent three tours in Iraq and two in Afghanistan and I know many of those innocent people. It's nice that you can wrap yourself up in the American flag at night and let other people do your dirty work. It's not for me or YOU to decide that. I can tell you that you have no clue as to what the true situation is in Iraq. Go on and listen to your MSNBC or whatever liberal channel you watch.
As for there being an overwhelming amount of servicemen and women supporting Obama, I am sure there are some, however I've never met them. Most of the people I have known in the military are there to protect their country. Please don't talk about something you know nothing about. If you believe in upholding the constitution then you shouldn't allow your president to keep bypassing it. Have you even read it? This is quoted directly from the U.S. constitution and all Americans should memorize it:
