I saw this place as just another opportunity to meet someone had some good dates and meet some great people.
Also puzzles me why some people get so pissed off that some of us are in a relationship but choose to stay , its not diminishing there chances of meeting someone

re Turkish. Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about and I do agree with you about using the site as additional avenue to explore, rather than rely on it in any form. Couldn't have said it better. It reminds me a bit of how to structure a financial portfolio. Never put all eggs in one basket, unless you have insider information

There Are many reasons why people come here,Its not just for dating, meeting new friends is great too, and honestly if by chance that you would meet someone here, well great...But it wont happen over night...

Same here,
Distance is usually the problem, and its not like, hop on the next plane just to go and meet someone for a chat and a coffee..
In real life its different,yet here you do meet some very interesting and great people, if a romance would come out of it, well great, but when it comes to distance and if a romance would come out of it, again the problem who's going to relocate...its just a different world here...But no harm in trying, but if someone is not happy with the way things go, well CS does not come with a guarentee!!....
You still have to do all the work yourself......So welcome to the real world...
