Raven0: I think I would like to live in a house. Houses are great places to live. I didn't really like my old apartment ( or flat to some people ) The neighbours were awfully noisy.
Hi Raven you doll
If you want to travel the miles... you are welcome in my house...
Pick a country........... flirt with a few women in that country and 'hey presto' - before you can say the magic words 'wobbly buttocks' several women will have invited you to go and stay with them. Choose carefully, and you can have a nice cheapo holiday with the added benefit of great company!
Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy the local culture?
WhovianGeneva: Inspired by ausidude's "do you like where you live" thanks guy !!!
If you had the opportunity to move in another place where would you move ?
I live just outside of Geneva, nice place, mountains are nearby, the lake to swim is great but I feel I'm not in the right place...
I'd like to move once somewhere in the UK, in the countryside, perhaps near the coast, or the lake or the peak district, in a small village where I could know everybody. I'd like to have one or two horse too
I haven't decided yet, but I am looking. What I know so far, it will be someplace with a relatively warm, dry climate, and plenty of sunshine.... somewhere in the Mediterranean region, most likely.

try the area between valencia and alicante in Spain, my dad lives now in a small village there (was his dream) and there's a good English community over there (if I believe what he told me...)

Don't take this wrong, but my impression of much of Spain now is that there are too many Northern Europeans. I don't like walking down the street of my town or village and seeing a sign outside the cafes reading "Full English Breakfast." LOL. I am definitely NOT looking for a "good English community." Not that I don't like English speaking people, it is not that at all. But I see no reason to relocated to a foreign country and then try to turn it into 'just like home.' Little Italy in New York springs to mind, or China Town. Not what I'm looking for.

There are certainly areas as you describe, as there are in many countries, but you are quite wrong to think that these "Little England" communities are widespread.
I live in the city of Murcia and the only English people I have met are teachers like myself. All my friends are Spanish, and if I go shopping or out and about doing other things, I have to speak Spanish as few people speak English.
That´s why I chose to live here, and if I go to the coast, which is nearby, and where many of the ex-pats reside, I can easily avoid them if I choose.
