I always receive him. I know him, I will always know the truth.
The truth is painful, be ready to receive it.

Hi Naked,
Just picking up on your "pain" comment and hoping you might be able to answer this for me.

Why, with most of the religions I have seen does there have to be pain and suffering.
It seems to me that you cannot be a true believer unless you have really suffered.

Didn't Jesus die on the cross and suffer pain, so that the rest of man doesn't have too ?

I keep looking at the different religions and see nothing but contradiction !

JMHO

I suffered before I knew. I do not worship in a church. I know that we all have suffered.
Religion teaches, what is evil and what is good. If you cannot feel it then you need to read it.

I have read it, and I still do not feel the vibe.
I know what is good and what is evil..... maybe I learnt that from reading.

But in my opinion the book is a very good collection of analagies, fables and sayings, which we should all live our lives by... collated by humans a few thousand years ago, who then stuck a religious label on it.
It's a book of common sense only.

I do not see the need to follow a particular religion to be able to know right from wrong..... I have a fair amount of common sense already !

I also feel that our OP has not exactly drawn me into either reading the book again or wanting to follow in his or anyone elses footsteps. !

virgosingle: well that confirms it ,this thread has been up for a day and no comments , so no one wants him alive on this earth , too many people just dont want to stop being "naughty and mean nasty ogures" , bullies all of you and not being very nice to others ..

That is what is wrong with this earth
Nothing wrong with this Earth!
Nothing wrong with most of the People living on it!
Plenty wrong with the Doctrines they're forced,in one way or another,to believe in!mumbling

I guess because he was an Israeli first and that would open a whole new can of worms.

Because until your face down in the mud, have dealt with adversity and had your whole belief system challenged, you can't really learn. Suffering is inevitable-injury, disease, the loss of loved ones, etc. Religion, and especially Christ's life are examples to draw from-a sort of universal theme in everyone's life (minus the crucifixtion mercifully).

I realy think that peoples expectation of christ's comming is to much for anyone to live up too!!!

These and more questions are to be asked in our search for the one we seek on this or any datting site ..are we for real ?? does our profile show who we realy are ..do our blogs and forum post show the true inner workings of our minds..are we honest and true ??..are we half full or half empty ???wave

seveneyes: Remember what he said: Many will come proclaiming to be him, so if anyone tells you that he is out in the desert or wherever, do not believe them, for as the lightning flashes in the east is visible in the west so shall the coming of the son of man be. Remember- he says "Behold, I come with the clouds" and he will bring all of his holy ones with him. Emagine a great procession of the heavenly host coming from the sky. Like a mass of glorious Angels being seen by all men, with Christ in the lead.

You wont need any picture, just know that when he comes he will come from the sky and all will see him. It wont be a human walking around that just seems to happen into our media etc...

It is written that he will come with the sound of a trumpet, the voice of the archangel

he wont have a stick, his arrival will cause the unbelievers hearts and consciences to smite themselves. They will stand self condemned

Christ can never be a wolf in sheeps clothing, he is the lamb
