You are probably right, but sometimes there are good reasons for not posting a picture until the time is right, unless you are a scammer but scammers usually post phony pictures of attractive people to lure unsuspecting desperate and gullible people.

You are quite right. I know there are many reasons why people don´t post pics, and they realise that their opportunities are more limited I suppose.

Incidentally, I don´t think I´ve heard of a faceless scammer profile. As I´ve said before on another thread recently, the fake pics are the worst and not all are "scammers" as defined in the African, Russian etc scam stories we read about.

I suppose there are those that will post fake photos because they feel they are not attractive enough or are just on the site playing games, but if they do finally connect with someone online whom they are seriously attracted to there will be a day of reckoning as they will have to expose their true self if they want to develop a true relationship with this person, so this would be a self defeating tactic.

Online dating is a lot harder than dating in the real world where you and the other party can lay the cards on the table almost immediately and make the determination whether to move ahead or not after one or two dates.

Back to previous subject, yes not posting photos may limit opportunities at first, but after getting to know those on the site and in the forums and making possible connections with those that interest you, information and photos can always be exchanged privately later on.

Soul mates aren't born, Honey, they are nurtured. I truly believe that soul mates are just two people who make every effort to please each other. We need to become experts on each other, truly value each other as people, respect each other's nuances, and celebrate each other's differences.
