I hired the gardenners to clean my waterfall pond. In the pond I have 98 lovely carps . I have taken care them since they were so small intil they grew up [ around 8 inches ]. They made me pround because they grew up very fast. The pond looked so green and quite dirty. So I needed it to be cleaned. They took my fish out off the water and put in the big bucket treated with oxygen. After they finished cleaning they refilled the pond and put my fish back into the pond. And it shocked me all my fish died immediately. None of them survived. I was so upset. They offered me 4 new one compensation. I lost 98 and will get 4 compensate. My heart entirely broken
I doubt if you could sue gardners that you hired for the job for such an error. If they had been professional fish people it would be another story, but in the circumstances you were "in charge" of the operation.

Next time, if you have to do it again, set the bucket in the freshly refilled pond and give the water in the bucket time to gradually adjust to the same temperature of the water in the pond before you put the fish back into the pond so it doesn't shock and kill your fish.

Can't trust gardeners ...hang on I am one , seriously though I do feel for you & feel they should have made more of an effort in care of your fish than they did

Don't worry, there are plenty of fish in the sea.
Actually she could! Because when you hire somebody for a job like this ... the firm or company who is about to be hired needs to be qualified if they are not ... and something happened. They must pay.
But in neulek case ... i don't know what kind of agreement she made with "Gardeners" cleaning the pond .... if it was a professional company they must replace or pay damage. But I afraid she hired the cheapest on a market.

Next time have some rice, veg and oyster sauce prepared. Waste not, want not!

i thought to find another story here sorry about your carps honey you should have caught all of them yourself and placed them in a safe place there's principle... don't remember where it comes from. but the point is that you lose something when you're too much attached to it. now that this happened, let it go
thanks everyone. I'm still in shocked. My brother in law did offer to do it for me but I wanted it get done by frofessional so why I hired them. But they said it was beecause of chlorine in the refilled water. I did not know about this. it should be them awared about the water effection. But all died anyway. I can't do anything. Just learn from this lesson.

Heavens, to lose all 98 is horrid. Really, professional or not, they really should be replacing more fish. Well, I hope soon you might get some breeding happening.

As professionals, they should know how to treat chlorinated water. Even amateurs do these days with all the products on the market. No excuse for their negligence. I don't think they would be talking to you this way if they were dealing with a man.
professionals??? In Thailand....surely you jest...
Your fish, dear, are victims of the system in place in Thailand...don't blame the gardeners...blame the system that rewards corruption, that promotes nepotism and supports a no fail policy in it's educational institutions from primary to university level.
Blame yourself and all your fellow countrymen who sit idly by as the face system stifles the progress of your people and country...but please do not blame the gardeners...
