I have come across several women on here who are in stable, happy relationships, (Unlike a lot of us).
So are they flaunting that? Or on Forums "Just for Fun"?
Is it just Ego boost? I'm great you saddo, now I can just enjoy your desire for me?
Seems to me that those lucky enough to be in loving relationships should not gloat over those who are not.
Get on with it and off this site.

I see nothing wrong with sharing ones happiness with others.I don't think they're flaunting.Nor do I see it as a ego boost.

If someone chooses to remain on a site even though they're in a relationship it is noone elses business except for the two people who are in it.

I am inclined to agree.

I've not seen anyone gloating, flaunting or having an ego boost because they are happy in a relationship.

Many people, single or in a happy relationship are here to meet friends from all over the world, and to have a lot of fun. Nothing bad about that. And if some find love here, it is nice that they share their happiness. hug

Yeah you tell 'em.......doh

Is someone else's happiness so hurtful to you ?......There are people on this site for friendship only and it says so in their profiles.........Nothing wrong with that IMO.

Danny boy this is the second negative thread i haves seen form you, a lot of people here enjoy the forums and why not!! , if they state they are in a relationship and happy then good for them. They do contribute to the site as long as they are honest, whats the problem.
Try not to be a saddo you will just dimish your own chances of success on here!!.

I think its nice to hear that two people found happiness, especially if they met on CS and they choose to keep, sharing and being friends with everyone.

This becomes a community and people know each other.....its about FRIENDSHIP.... I never see anyone gloat...

Your being way to negative and bitter......STOP ITconfused

No, I think you´re completely wrong, and fail to see how you´ve come to these conclusions in the short time you´ve been here.

In fact, I do believe many of those who are seeking a partner here are given hope and encouragement when they see that online dating can work. Granted, there are very few long term success stories, and I remain one of the doubters, but the handful there are serve a positive purpose.

partially its an ego boost but mostly its just that its impossible to get everything you want from one person, so rather than looking for one perfect person some people look for different things from different people, just hoping that they dont all find out about each other or that each one is comfortable knowing that they are not the only one in your life, hope that helpsangel

Think its up to the individuals if they want to post they have met someone, and mainly its a one off thread and thats it.

Have seen a couple in the past that used to post a bit to much intimate information, which would have been better kept to private mail, but they have long gone.

I dont see it as gloating at all.. Its actually quite encouraging. If we all were lonely and have no good news then hell we might as well all just be heading for the same Asylum. grin
