Kattsrose: Mine was a quiet diner that we made ourselves in a cabin in a lake in northern New Hampshire. Afterwards we just visited, listened to music and danced.What about you?
ON a lake. If it had been in the lake it would have been the most exciting date.

hmmm let me see wow a long time ago girlfriend #4 went to a coffee shop that just happened to have a live band out on the patio we drank coffee and talked till they closed then we went back to her place and made sweet sweet love . 3 times .

For the best date you first have to be with the right person. I had that one day with a beautiful lady who,s eyes where so deep and warm they could melt the ice off of a frozen lake just with a passing gaze. she had long soft hair that had the fresh smell if being freshely washed. the evening was the end of a warm sunny day, we drove up to the mountains and had a picknick dinner next to a small watterfall. Then we drove up to the top of Green Mountain, stood outside on the edge of a small clift, I had my arms wrapped around her from the back as she leaned her head against my shoulder and we watched the sun slowely set over puget sound. As the sun vanished leaving only the pink of the clouds to brighten the horizon we kissed, a long and slow kiss. Then the mosquitoes came out so we got back into my truck and drove down to her house where she put in a movie, I dont remember what movie it was. We setteled down on her bed to watch the movie, again my arms wrapped around her and her arms around me. Her head on my chest as a pillow she fadded off to sleep. I stayed awake for the longest time, The movie played on but I did not watch it. I just layed there absorbing every moment of her being there in my arms, quiet, peacefull, her soft hair on my face, I could feel the beating of her heart. It took a long time but I finaly fell asleep too. The next morning we woke up, still in each others arms. She smiled at me, I smiled at her. I have never felt so close to anyone before or since as I did that night. that was my best date ever.

We went boating for the day .......I let her off the back at the beach and as she walked away - she turned around and just started at me ..............I knew we'de be together for years

In my last relationship, it was a constant stream of wonderful dates for 4 years.....we did so much so many beautiful romantic things... from watching sunrises wrapped in a blanket to, sunsets over the lake, to making love on a cliff....to.....

My best date didn't start as a date... I was having my first apartment house warming party, and a male friend brought his buddy... Well he juggeled eggs in my kitchen breaking them all but made me laugh...at 3am we took a 2 hour drive to watch the sunrise over the ocean then went to an outdoor cafe for breakfast and we talked...and talked...one of those conversations that you "get" each other...and comments like
-."i didn't think anyone else felt that way...I love that!...no one else ever gets that...me too!"
A connection on all levels...we couldn't stop touching each other...small touches, a stroke of the cheek, a hand laid atop the other...and the amazing eye connection...like he was looking right into my inner self. The level of intemacy we shared with the most innocent touches was amazing...not that they stayed innocent...
We spent the next 3 dsys and nights in bed and had a wonderful 3years together.
