You know, I do care when people on here call me names.
It doesn't matter if they know me personally or not.
Just because this is a relatively anonymous way of communicating, it doesn't give anyone the right to sling mud and get away with it.
If it makes you happy to make other people feel bad, I guess it reflects back on you.

I always consider the source. If I think they are scum, and would never want to have their approval, according to their demented view of things, I take it as a compliment when they have a problem with my not being likeminded.

There was a time, a long time ago, wait, no, Im lying. I have never cared what people had to say. I have always maintained my own identity without worry about any1 else. Do what you do, I do what I do! If you don't like it, then don't talk to me!

Constructive criticism or simply a difference of opinions I have no qualms with but if someone says deliberately hurtful words or insults then yes, I care very deeply. I wish I had a thicker skin but I don't and never will. What I find even more worrying is that I try to analyze what has been said and why, for a long time afterwards, which only makes things worse.

I learned long time ago if you are gonna be sarcastic and make wiseass remarks you should be able to take the same treatment.
I do enjoy exchanging sarcastic remarks and comments with people.

I could care less what people say or think about me but when someone makes an insulting remark about a friend or family member, I'm going to be all over them like a fly on chit

I quit worrying what others thought about me a long time ago!!!
I have enough worries on my plate that are much more important than spending my time worrying 24 hrs a day what someone else may think of me!!!
I would rather spend my free time living my life than worrying about petty comments etc!!!
When you can be secure in yourself it gets much easier to care about what others think...because you know yourself better that what anyone else ever could!!!!!

most times I'm in agreement with that, but i will inquire as to where and when the person knows this friend of mine...
I have more than once had some boys from work sit in a bar and cut me to ribbons with BS tales...all because of what I made them do or told them to do it this way or that....being a foreman or supervisor ya gotta let the the kids vent,

Like others have said...it depends on who it's coming from. If I think they are a speedbump I probably won't even slow down, just do a Dukes of Hazard move and fly through the air....
