I will start with Dun Laoghaire ( said as Dunleary ). Where you would arrive if travelling by boat to Dublin.

Pontyclun...Pon-tee-cleen. or even Pon-tee-clee-an.

It means "Bridge over the river Clun" which is a grubby little river that runs by my house, but floods spectacularly and powerfully at times.
